WTF?!

I thought the warranty on the 360's was now one year? However when I called M$ support, they told me I am out of warranty. I bought my original 360 in August 06, and this is the third one to die on me since. Is it even possible for me to be out of warranty, or is M$ just trying to f$%& me?

I hope they make it so that you can see how far along on achievments you are.

How do you check to see how far along you are on achievments, like the weapon achievments in Gears?

How do you tell if you have a graphic chip problem?

Whenever I play Gears on-line, and I am spectating when I have just joined a match, the graphics seem like they have to load every time I look at a new area. For example, the statues will just look like a blotch of color, and then after five seconds or so, the graphics will load up and it will look like it's supposed to. This also happens when I am playing campaign, with things such as the white vans. They will look absolutely horrible, then after a few seconds of being on screen they will look normal. Is this due to a bad graphic chip?

I bought all of my games new as well, and still recieved the disk cannot be read message. It's the system, not the games.

I think the problem is your 360 is overheating, and then it can't read the disk correctly. I have the same problem with numerous games, and I'm getting mine repaired if Microsoft ever decides to send me a box.

Has anyone had a problem with their 360 leaving greenish colored scratches on the inner circle of their disks? My 360 is perfectly stable, yet it leaves these greenish scratches on all of my games, and then lets me play those games for an hour tops before giving me that "can't read disk" error. The guy I talked to at Microsoft says it's impossible for the 360 to scratch disks in that area and that the disk is faulty. However, I went through two copies of FIFA 07, when all I did was purchase the game and put it directly into my 360. Both of them got green scratches after I played them once. So, is anyone else having this problem?
