I personally don't agree with some of these selections. The Root's "Game Theory" could be considered a modern classic. Maybe Cormega's "Tha Realness"? maybe not. Dead Prez's "Let's Get Free", I think, would also be in contention.

Cunninlynguists definately are in the modern classics, APOS was a great album. Zion I's mind over matter is ten years old so I don't think it would be modern. If we go back that far, I think Cannibal Ox's The Cold Vein should also be considered

Phi Life Cypher - Playback

I don't think this is a traditional classic, but it is pure lyricism. So I guess in my opinion a modern classic.

No one would post this as a classic so I doubt it will cause any harm.

There is a lot of talk of classic albums, but those always tend to be chosen from 90s (or around there). Arguably, the 90s was when hip hop was at its greatest. It is rare nowadays to find albums that resonate the same way as these classics. I am curious to know what "recent" albums would say are classics or almost classics?

I would suggest:

Blue Scholars - Blue Scholars

Little Vic - Each Dawn I Die

Fashawn - Boy Meets World

Reks - Grey Hairs

Lupe Fiasco - Food & Liquor

Panacea - Ink is My Drink

I really loved TP, but I have to say Okami was a better game. I felt Okami had better art, better story, better characters, better gameplay. Okami had a lot more to do, too. It has so much, I found it to be a much longer game than TP. Okami obviously borrowed a lot from the zelda series. I can't wait for the new zelda, though.

@Skingus

I liked the combat better, especially the brush abilities. When you get towards the end, you can change them together, and you really feel powerful. The weapons were also pretty cool. The only thing I liked about Zelda's combat better were the fights with no boundaries.

I liked the "dungeons" and bosses more, too. I felt the dungeons fit in more seemlessly with the setting and story. The Bosses I thought were a little better too, expecially ninetails and the entire sequence with the Owls. Zelda had awesome bosses as well, though.

What I really liked about Okami was the story and characters.

I have to say, Okami was much better. I was a huge fan of TP until I played Okami. I just found everything to be better in Okami: characters, story, gameplay, graphics (art), music....

I never thought Okami would beat TP, but after playing it I would say this decision was very easy. TP is still an amazing game though.

I'd like Ameratsu from Okami to be in it. A great final smash would be brush techniques.
