Kyle Okposo is going to be a good player for the Islanders so its not like the team is a collection of stiffs. Also there is Doug Weight to help tutor Tavares and Josh Bailey. If DiPietro can stay healthy and Mark Striet continues his success at D along with Andy Sutton and Brendan Witt, 25 wins should not be an issue.

agree 100% , especially if dipietro can ever say healthy, i feel he can still be a top 5 golie in this league. The only bad thing for the islanders is that they are in a tough division too which may extend their rebuilding years.

The Giants - they are playoff team, possibly superbowl

D is top 5 in the league. running game is top 5. Just got to hope the passing game is solid enough to win games in the playoffs

The devils didnt make any big deals but im fine with that because no one else in the east made any big changes (mostly boston and washington) so i like the devils chances. they got Havlid who should provid solid depth but nothing big. Brodeur is back and is already in form, and i like their chances.

Kind of a boring trade deadline, the only team that kind of made a big splash is the Flames. the wings, sharks or flames will probably come out of the west and Bruines, caps, or devils out of the east. Not really any major changes, unless someone gets hot around playoff time.
