I played this game before the whole Jeff issue came out, and I have to say this game sucks. The aiming itself is a chore, graphics are quite bad, dialogue = laughable. I could only play this for 30 mins and returned it to the rental store.
I would also reccomend Uncharted, awesome game. Heavnly Sword, although a good game, is quite short. Definate rent. I'm gettin UT3 on Friday, pretty stoked.
I just wanna say thank you guys for clearing up this whole situation and I want to say that I am sorry for the comments made about the site after the whole Jeff situation. Gamespot is what made me want to get into this industry and I will not forget it. So, good luck Jeff, and thanks to HotSpot for opening my eyes and making me realize what Gamespot has contributed to this industry.
This whole situation is so messed. If what is being said is true, then I do not trust GS anymore and will nver come back. Because of this (to me) they have lost all credibility. Jeff was one of the ppl at GS who made me keep coming back anticipating the next review....but no more.
Although Mass Effect looks pretty spectacular, COD4 is simply pure dynomite!!!! Best shooter of the year. The campaign is short but makes up with mind blowing sound, boner inducing visuals and just awesome gameplay.
In my mind I think that this game will definately be a system seller. I am an Xbox 360 supporter and am still lovin the 360, but the PS3 is getting some games that won't be out for the 360 that look kick ass (Uncharted, Killzone 2, Ratchet and Clank). I am thinkin of pickin up a PS3 through ebay due to a cheap price (about $380) so im stoked!
I am very excited for this game and is the main reason to why I am planning to buy a ps3 by my nxt paycheck. Im thinkin of gettin a 40 or 60 gig off ebay, seems pretty cheap for around $360-380. Anyone reccomend this? But either way, buying a ps3 for uncharted!!!!!
I think that the update fixed the lag issue with the game. For some consoles (from what I have read) Bioshock lags at some parts, like during combat. This started to happen to me but after the update it is not an issue anymore. BIOSHOCK RULEZ
