Ok, I apparently didn't hear the story behind the belt last year, so what is the deal with it and why do people keep bringing it up?trick_man01
Last year WWE came in thinking it was going to be some big meet & greet, but there where only about 30 people who where working that night along with a few others who came in like me (it wasn't publicised). So they had t-shirts and stuff to give away. They did a little trivia & since I pretty much the only real fan there that night who knew this stuff I got the replica belt for free. Snake - I noticed that I looked a bit stiff to. Most of that has to do with being tired as I work 12 hours shifts on graves. Both years I had to work the night before and didn't get much sleep during the day before heading to Raw so by the time they came through at 1am I was just beat. Also I tried to do something like that last year with the Big Show by having him act like he was going to choke slam me, but they wouldn't do it. I think it has to do with lawsuits in mind...like some @$$ saying it was assault and trying to sue so they only do official PR pic's with stuff like that.

Its always a bit sad to see familiar faces go, but I think he needs the break. In this weeks ECW match you could see he's hurting & needs to get in better shape. Being that large & overweight don't mix well, and it can be rough on his heart. The announcers always say TV doesn't do the Big Show justice you have to meet him to see just how big the guy is. I met him last year, and as you can see he makes a 6'1" guy look tiny.

Sounds like you had a smashing time once again! Taker looks huge compared to you, even though you're average height being 6"1 tall.

You've still got that WWE "Spinner" Title right? I sure hope it's framed! ;)

I've still got the belt, its displayed above my computer desk. I was watching a video on WWE.com & the USO tour was actually JBL's idea. He did a meet and greet 4 years ago and when the troops asked if they would be wrestling he threw together a proposal sent it to Vince. I guess they will continue doing this each holiday season as they are comparing themselves to what the Bob Hope USO show's used to be. This time next year I'll be deployed so maybe I'll see them again on the other side of the world. I forgot that Maria was telling us her brother was a Marine who is currently in the Mid-East. She said his job is in transportation which is similar to what I do. They also where delayed leaving as when the plane they where taking was taxiing out a bird flew into the #4 engine and caused some damage so they got out around 8 hours late. Also for those who didn't see my post last year here are some pics.

I attended Raw/ECW last night. Had some good seats as I was 7 rows back from the ring right behind JR & the King. It was cool being at a live event as always, but the shows seemed thrown together this week. There wasn't anything special that happened (dark matches) everything I saw will be televised aside from a few promo's during commercials. Like last year WWE used Charleston AFB to get on there way for this years USO tour. I work in the aerial port (we do everything you would see in an airport terminal - moving passengers & cargo) so WWE came to us early in the day to help get there equipment & ring packed up for the tour as they would be taking one of our C-17's (cargo jet). Maria & Jeff Hardy came by our offices early in the day & met with a bunch of the troops. I wasn't there as I usually work graves and was getting some rest before the show. After Raw ended I headed to work & WWE showed up around 1am on a few bus's. This years USO tour included Mr. McMahon, Undertaker, JBL, John Cena, Umaga, Edge, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, Carlito, CM Punk, Bobby Lashley, Chris Masters, Shelton Benjamin, Johhny Nitro, Melina, Maria, Torrie, Kristal & Lilian. It was a relaxed setting as the only people there where those working that night and a few others who came in like myself. It was kind of weird to be walking around and having all these wrestlers just chillin around you, but enjoyable to experience. I talked & joked with a bunch of them so didn't take to many pictures this year. I didn't get the chance to speak with all of them as some where pretty tired and passed out in there chairs after getting there, & others called there families before heading to Iraq so I didn't want to be an @$$ and interrupt them. Everyone I met this year was really nice, just like last. I know people get caught up in the heel/face thing, but in real life these guys/gals are all easy to talk to. WWE's PR had me and a few others take pictures/shake hands with the roster, & wave to the camera's. They said it would be on WWE.com along with the USO promo video's they cut so that will be cool to see when they are released. I didn't recognise Umaga at first, he wasn't wearing any face paint and spoke perfect english...which was weird since he doesn't really talk on tv. Didn't recognise Carlito either at first since he had his har pulled back instead of the sideshow bob look, lol. As most probably already know Melina & Johhny Nitro are a real life couple, and one that surprised me was CM Punk & Maria where together as well. Undertaker & JBL where pretty talkative asking where we where from (I'm originally from Ohio) & UT was a Cleveland Cav's fan as he was wearing one of there sweatshirts. Him and JBL also joked about me buying some shirts (was wearing the DX Christmas shirt) they said thats good continue shopping they need to put food in there kids mouths, lol. They all had sleeping bags and as Melina was picking hers up CM punk smacked it out of her hands causing her to chase him around the room trying to slap him...pretty funny to see. We talked with Vince McMahon again this year, he was friendly & joked with us a bit. Other than that nothing really outstanding to tell. Like I said it was just a laid back time, but something I'll definitely remember. Here are a few pic's I took with UT & JBL, CM Punk & Maria, Jeff Hardy, Edge, Vince, & Torrie. Just to give an idea of size I'm 6'1".

I'm attending Raw/ECW tonight so hope they are good shows. I had seats 3 rows from the ring, but Ticketmaster sucks and timed out on the tickets ( 2 min to confirm & I had to register an account...like thats enough time). So I ended up w/ floor seats in row G (7 rows back). I'll be sure to post anything that happens off camera. Also some of you may remember I did a post last year where I met a bunch of WWE stars (Air Force, we sent them on the USO tour after the show). We are doing it again so around midnight EST we have a meet and greet again w/ WWE. I'll be sure to do a post w/ pic's and any inside info as well. I'll also see (depending on time & amount of people) if I can get DX, or Mr McMahon to cut a quick video for the union or something. I have to work 1/2 a night after all this so I'll try to get something up by tomorrow evening, or Wednesday.

I watch Raw & ECW. Smackdown & TNA are alright & I'll watch them every once in awhile, but I have a hard enough time keeping up with 2 shows let alone 4...damn work schedule :(

I'll be watching UFC that night, but hey thats what Tivo is for so I'll still cactch ECW. Still what a poor choice to counter the event though...like you'de see anything anyway, its not like it's skinimax, lol.

Talk about some shocking news, i'm sad to hear of this as he's one hell of a wrestler. Hope he gets his personal/medical issues resolved & i'm sure we'll see him back in the ring in the future.

Wow  I was expecting to scroll down and see RKO or someone, but seeing Kurt named the new World Champion thats awesome as he's a hell of a wrestler.
