and i agree with the guy that posted right above me that i didnt get to see while i was typing my crap. if you have some what of knowledge in the PC world it is cheaper. GeekSquad charges like 80 bucks to put in a GFX Card. or thats what the guy at best buy told me when he was bugging me while i was looking at the selection(although i do all my shopping on newegg =] )
NO Console game will ever look better than a PC game, for many reasons. like one would be if your card can handle it, then high resolutions. which will make any game flawless looking, no matter how crappy it is. and you can change almost any settings (in most games) so if you have a piece of doodoo or a 7k voodoo or your own custom PC you can change the settings to fit it perfectly. i mean without PC's there would be no console games, and its not fair to compare the two in the sense one can only play games where as the other can browse the web, download pr0n, etc. etc. although consoles now i believe can play music and movies but so can a PC...... basically the only people who say PC graphics suck compared to consoles dont have a good PC and there for cant make that judgement. remember inergrated chips are not for gaming.
Although for younger people a console is obviously better seeing as its more plug and play, you dont need to hassle with patches and what not. but as soon as you can drive, its time to become a man and go into the PC realm. and that what is nice about PC gaming is if they f**k up on a console game, oops. but if they mess up on a PC game, you download a patch and pronto, problem is fixed.
And PC's or not more expensive unless you go to bestbuy. if you newegg it then you can get a decent PC for cheap. then again some people get conned into buying an alienware. but really PC's are cheaper just because in order to actually play an 360 game right you need to have a plasma or some sort of over priced TV. basically its not worth it unless you already have it, or get it for a gift. this is a war that is already won, won by PC. the PC created the console game, and by god it can send it back to hell if needed.
also i would like to point out that the PS3 is already last generation. nVIDIA has already mass produced a card that makes your Playstaton look like NES. and ATI is making there next gen card which will t-bag nVIDIA for now. so although to get that it would cost alot but probaly equal to a console + nice TV vs. Beefy Rig + Some Hardcore Monitor.
