The argument for Vista v XP doesn't have to be even discussed, as both are still supported and really it's just what the user feels would be better for them. If Vista ever gains a gaming performance over XP, then all the 'OMG XP ROCKZ' kids will run to it frothing at the mouth - and thus show's how shallow the whole XP v Vista thing is.
