i don't know if an add-on would work on a Wii U to improve hardware. if it is a totally new 'new' Wii U console yes the previous buyers of Wii U would real be pissed off.

as I'm not familiar on how they built Wii U so it is hard to know on how to make it easy portable the Wii U to accept 3rd party games under x86 architecture. Madden, Fifa and NBA alone can add a ton of fans buying the console - nintendo + 3rd party sports is already a sell in. add GTA, COD, BF, Diablo then your talking. it is not even a competition if Nintendo has the 3rd party titles too... it is not daydreaming (for the other console fans) but it is true. if Wii U is at par with PS4 and X1, 3rd party titles are the same + Nintendo exclusives. it is really game over. I think that is why a lot of Nintendo haters are leaning to. they wanted the competition to die because they already know if it happens. they'll lose the gamers on their platform.

it is the sad truth. Nintendo is the one to blame. is it too late? if it is an inferior hardware, would Nintendo add hardware to make Wii U atleast par with PS4 and X1? so that most common games would be ported easily to Wii U?

i love their games but like what most have said, the 3rd party/multiplat games are always inferior to other gen ports. so it is really hard to value a $60 inferior game and several gamers would own another console or PC to justify their buy on that game.
