So i just installed the game on a 10krpm hdd, vista, qx8650, 8800ultra, 4gb epp. ran the benchmark at 1680x1050 on 22" widescreen with very high settings. got fps minimum/average/maximum 18/32/64. then i ran it on 1280x1024 with very high settings and the load time was halfed and got the fps 19/35/71. so if you can wait 20seconds extra for the load, then i recommend using the 1680x1050. Because it only dropped to 20 during tactical nuke and carpet bombing. but otherwise it was a good 40-60 average. hope this helps! ps, you sure bout that 4as? :]

think you only need a constant 40fps for it to be "perfect". read somewhere that 40fps and 80fps looks the same to us humans.
