I am loving this game, but I think I am lost.

I have completed the first Mission -going into the mine and getting the Iridescent Ore. But when I talk to the count, he has no new missions available. I have also completed all of the quests available at that place in town.

What do I need to do to advance the story?

You can also do a suspend save, press Y to access the main menu, then press the START button. This feature isn't in the demo.

Just to provide more info. I am having the same problem. It' been several days now.

I have tried in Mac OSX with Safari, Firefox 3.5, and Opera, as well as Linux Ubuntu 9.04 with Firefox 3 and Opera.

I am also in Canada with Shaw as my ISP.

The advertisements will play, then I just get the "buffering" circle. :(

OK. Thanks for the info.

It's too bad. I imagine the PS3 has some sort of emulator inside it, not PS1 hardware, so you'd think you could get a better resolution. My guess is with the widescreen it is zoomed and cropped maybe?? I am currently using an SDTV with component cables.

Hi,

Just wondering if the PSone classics from the PSN play at a higher resolutions like when using an emulator on a computer? That is something I love about playing PSX games through an emulator, they can look much better than the original. If so, I will buy FFVII. Any glitches playing them on the PS3?

Also, are there save states? Like when you can save the game whenever you want.

Thanks

I was really disappointed as well. You can add Vandal Hearts to the "pushed back to 2010" list. If you really can't wait, you can buy the European version online.

I wonder what the wait is for. It's already been translated to English for the UK version. I hope we are not waiting b/c they wanted to add voice acting to the US version. I am all about Japanese audio with English text.

Mine froze once. The game stopped for a minute so it could sign into PSN and add a Trophy. But there was no message, I thought the game had stopped and was about to turn it off, then a trophy was added.

Wow, a lot of MGS4 on here. Put me down for Valkyria Chronicles. It's the main reason I switched to the PS3 and sooo worth it.

I am definitely a slim fan. I think the old fat one looks like freakin' Frankenstein.

When the slim came out, I sold the 360 and switched over :)

For anyone with an SD Television thinking about whether or not they should buy component cables for the PS3, do it. It's definitely worth it.

I could barely read some smaller text in some games like NHL and Valkyria Chronicles, and now it is much clearer. Everything is sharper, and I can even use the cord with my PS2 which looks great with the component cable. Best image you'll get on an SDTV.

Thanks to those who commented, it helped me decide on my purchase.
