So according to @dbeausoleil57 and others....Xbox one is NOT as good as PS4 because it can do MORE things than just gaming? Oh god, if this is the argument here then we should all go back to a nokia 3310 and a nintendo 64.....Who needs techonology?
IT seems that you are stuck in the past, precisely 7 years in the past. AMDs drivers are now quite stable and well made (especially since the 13.x versions). AMD video cards are cheaper than their Nvidia counter parts and offer similar gaming performance.
yes RyD3n....Good point "gameplay".... and guess what, XBOX 360 wins on that too!! Plus, much more games available on 360 that PS dont get....Gears of war2, fable 2, halo 3 just to name a few.... But to be honest i still prefer my PC....over both
PS3 sux... The graphics are better on Xbox 360. Plus the fact that PS3 can play blue Ray does not excuse that fact. Also PS3 is still friggin expensive!! I think Call of duty looks a little better on PS3 but thats about it....
Its called COMPETITION. They create new cards every year or so and we are the ones having to pay the price. Ati has a Winner here the 4870 chipset is faster than the 9800GTX and almost half price than the GTX280! You can't beat that for value. (and the GTX280 isnt that faster anyway to justify the price). Yeah and the gamespot benchmarks are a bit screwed up, how can a single 4870 be faster than the 4870x2 in Xfire!! Either way, Nvidias cards are good but so DAMN expensive. I bought a 4870 already.
No difference at all. VISTA sux. I heard rumours (pc magazine) that DIRECTX 11 coming out in a couple of years (maybe sooner). Two reasons for that, either Microsoft screwed up with DX10 (Most possible) or they are really bringing out something revolutionary (Dont think so). Everyone enjoy your 8800s or your X2900s graphic cards, coz it looks like you thrown your money away. I have a radeon X1950pro which is more than able to handle this game..... P.S. For those who can't see the images and have firefox, try using Internet Explorer, Firefox has a bug.
Ati lags behind a little bit, but their technology has proven more advance that Nvidia's. Compare crossfire vs SLI. Crossfire came out like a year after SLI, but SLI Splits the screen horizontally and each graphic card uses one end. Crossfire has a smarter way using small squares instead of splitting the screen. That way both graphic cards share an equal load unlike SLI. Also, the new chipsets from intel coming out that will support FULL x16 for crossfire, while nvidia had that for ages, Crossfire users were stuck on x8 x8. Lets see whos going to be the best then.
bear 1961, how can bill gates rip ppl off? when the Xbox 360 is nearly 40% cheaper than the PS3!!! What r u on about man!?? who cares about blue-ray nobody has it, and there arent any movies out that support it yet, so no point getting it. Plus u gna need a hd-TV to take full advantage. As for the hdmi the new xbox elite edition has it, and its still cheaper than a PS3. I dont like microsoft for various reasons, but SONY is the one ripping ppl off at the moment. So as lonewolftom87 said, Get out of here man....
WIndows XP is faster. Microsoft really screwed up with Vista. I will think twice b4 I upgrade to Vista. There is a new and improved windows on the way called "fiji" basically an improved version of Vista. Its gonna be released in about 2 years so worth waiting for that.
