@slicedbread117 I have attempted to listen to gamespot reviews since, well the beginning and I say this with all sincerity........they have never reviewed a game properly or effectively. Knowing what a good game is versus what a bad game is and what category it defines is only the beginning. To review on a scale is pathetic, it should be on a pass or fail system not on points.
"Oh it might have been good if...or it is good BUT, and when you give credit to a game for executing sound and graphics perfectly it might be acceptable yet it's gameplay or story is dull or linear and horrible or vice versa is just ludicrous and blatanly lying to the gaming community. If a game has one horrid aspect the experience is completely wasted and we are cheated by devs because they simply didn't know how, or didn't want to, or failed to polish the material as it should be. In general we are paying $60 for a game now; which is a lot of money, not to mention the console cost and taxes on top of that.
"Shouldn't it be assumed/expected that released games be perfect or pass with all the bells and whistles!"
I am sure DR3 will be better than it's predeccessors in the eyes/experience of a player that likes that category and exceed expectations for a launch title.
I never take gamespots reviews seriously, not to mention the fact that the console hasn't been released to the public yet or officially released in the US. I am sure it will be a solid 9.0 score to those who like that genre and zombie humor horror action. As for software malfunction BLAH, won't believe it until I see/experience it. The last two DR games got great scores from the gaming community. SO don't believe this BS. The addition of Kinect features is awesome and that is a welcome refresher.
I personally am not a Capcom fan, but I know that this game is worthy addition to the series and add more depth than it's predecessor's.
