Ok, so the ultimate goal of generating tourism is to achieve culture victory.Are there any short term benefits of tourism? Unless I am missing something.

What i'm bascially asking is what if i invested in tourism for a part in the game but realized a another victory path is more achieveable, what would I have gained from the short time I dedicated to building my tourism up.Or should I not invest in tourism at all if I dont plan on getting a culture victory?

I thought the final boss would be gravemind, it seemed like they were building for it the better half of the game and never got to it.( man that dissappointed me i think fighting him would have been cool but halo has never really been about boss fights anyway). That said, I don't think there is anyone who bought halo 3 that didn't like at least something or another about it. be it story, maps, weapons, vehicles, online play, etc.
