Does games on demand use microsoft points or do you need like a credit card number to get games from there?

B.IF THE PLASTIC BREAKS AND THE LITTLE DISC FALLS OUTS NOBODY REPLACES THEM YOU MUST BUY THE GAME ALL OVER AGAIN (it happened to 3 of my games thanks to the crappy case that held them)
