instead i bought a brand new 18 dollar Dragon Quest VIII from Ebay. Ive herd sum good things about this game and for 18 bucks ive decided to give it a try. and ps, all the other games were lik 25 bucks still good deal.

Im thinking of getting Final Fantasy IX for October.

I havnt been paying much attention towards TGS but from wat I saw of Final Fantasy XIII, Valkarie Chronicles 2, and a few other games, i was quite impressed.

One game im not looking forward too is FF14, I mean i disliked 11 (which shouldve been called final fantasy online) and 14 justs looks lik 11 but with better graphics. also when 14 comes out does that mean 11 will die? I mean, a final fantasy u can never play again? r u serious? thats unherd of.

This year i hav learned that u dont always hav to rely on a gamespot or gametrailers review to decide on wat game is good or bad. My friend for example loves monster hunter, me personally i dont lik it but i can why ppl luv it, he also likes warriors orochi 1 and 2 and that game has gotten sum nasty reviews but my friends luvz it and in the end thats wat counts. Does any body else hav a game they like that gets bad reviews by critics? i dont really hav one but....

I do hav sum games that i lik but i think are overated, take final fantasy 12 for example the story i actually lik while other ppl say its the games flaw. I also lik the graphics probably the best ive seen on a ps2. the problem i had was the gameplay. now i didnt totally hate the gameplay but i do think its flawed. the first time i played ff12 it felt lik i was playing a mmo :S. the gambit systems alright as long as u dont abuse, that meaning that u dont set yur gambits so u dont even hav to touch the controller during battle. the last thing i hated about ff12 was the license board. I liked the top part of the board and how u unlock mist and abilities and magic and upgrades and what not but i hated how u had to unlock certain weapons, say u buy a expensive weapon and it takes u forever to get the gil, now after buying the weapon u also hav to unlock the license for the weapon, seems simple right? well the problem is is that the license for that weapon is hidden so u hav keep unlock weapon licenses until u find it. There really should be a thing where u hav to be at a certain lvl to equip this weapon. other than that i probably wouldve gav ff12 anywhere between 8 and 8.8 but a 9 means the majority or ppl will lik this game and most of them dont. Does anybody else have a game that they think is overated?

anyways im 41 hours into persona 3 fes which will take me a long to time to finish since schools starting agian tom. Im still deciding on which of these rpgs i should get for the month of september.

Mmhmm wow i am really out of it almost been 2 years since ive joined gamespot and im only at lvl 10 :P

well this year has been crazy, first i was a final fantasy freak for about 3 months, then i became addicted to dragon ball again, and then surprisely i got back to watching Yu-Gi-Oh! for sum reason and now im addicted in buying cheap ps2 rpgs :D

right now im busy playing Persona 3 FES which is a great and long azz game. Im lik 30 hours into it on block 4 of tartus and im not even half way yet :O its supposely 70 hours for the journey and an extra 30 hours for the answer (which is availuable on the FES version) cant wait to finish it hopefully before school starts because ill hav no time to beat it during school or itll take me lik 2months :O.

Im also excited to be finally getting a PS3 (slim) on the upcoming Xmas. I havnt gotten a ps3 yet becuz it was super expensive and ther wernt any games that i was eager enough to buy. Originally i was waiting for final fantasy 13 but now that i hear God of War 3 i cant friggin wait. But since those games arnt coming till 2010 i wonder which game(s) i should get for the3 time being for the ps3 on xmas. Any suggestions?

4.)Final Fantasy X - first to be put on the ps2 and was amazingbattle system jus lik other FF's but without the job system but that didnt effect the play at all.

I finally beat final fantasy X took me 50 hours i didnt get any celestial weapons i jus got the extra aeons and magnus sisters and anima did the rest and holy helped to...and the one mp cost. i started playing in graDE 6 then i got stuck and stopped and jus recently started playin again

FOR THE PS2

The Warriors: a game based on the popular movie made in the 70's (i think lol). The Story is good and gamplay is good.The good thing about this game is when yur done the story u can still hav fun replayin missions or attack other gang terriotories. U use certain buttons to block punch kick and use grapple moves. its pretty fun at first but after a couple of weeks it will get boring but still a good game to play.

Kingdom Hearts: A great story with great gamplay. A great combination of Disney and final fantasy, u see alot of the popular disney and final fantasy characters. You will probably enjoy this game its easy to understand and to play but a certain difficulty will come about. ther r alot of unlockables like the ultima weapon and summonings and a secret movie at the end. the crap part of this game is the beginning and ending r only parts with CGI graphics and the way u adjust the camera with the L2 and R2 buttons is annoying but im sure it wont be a problem.

Kingdom Hearts Chain of memorie: not played yet

Kingdom Hearts 2: A great story that continues from the 1st and chain of memories game. the opening tells u most of wat happened in chain of memories if u havnt played it yet. the opening and ending and secret movie r again the only CGI graphics but it doesnt really matter cuz the story is so great u will want to continue jus for it. the gameplay is the same except for the triangle button which lets u make amazing attacks on certain enemies and u also can use limits which is a great help. they also fix the camera adjustment u use the right joystick. overall a better than the first.

Final Fantasy 5: a good game with afair story line about four crystals (wind, earth, fire, and water) four characters go to try to find the king and why the wind crystal scattered. The leveling system is normal (gain xp and level) but ther is many classes u can choose from (and i mean many 22) all characters can use them, its called the job system. the job system is a little annoying and the story is kinda original but the jobsystem also makes it fun with the many classes. the graphics arnt ps1 material.

Final Fantasy 6: a great story line with 14 playable characters. There is no job system (which makes things a little easier) and you level by gaining xp. All 14 characters hav unique storys, with ther own abilities. the only problem with this game is the graphics not really PS1 material.

Final Fantasy 7 Dirge of Cerberus: The story is good and the gamplay is fair. This is not aregular final fantasy game. its a first person shooter that has its flaws. the aiming joystick is kinda hard to control and will get annoying at times. usually when u shoot sumone in the head thers blood but no blood in this game. you see the other FF7 characters but brief and u dont fightwith themyur on yur own the whole way. the graphics r great but the story is tooo short. If it was for the story id give this game a 5.3 but....

Final Fantasy 8: a GREAT STORY LINE with amazing gameplay. U hav to use the junction system whch is confusing at first but youll definitly get used to it. The GF (summoning monsters lik shiva and ifrit) r super powerful for the first 2 discs which makes the game easy at first but as u progress it gets harder and more exciting. U lvl with gaining XP but u dont hav any magic (mp) u hav to gain it by theDRAW button which draws magic from a enemy to stock (u also can DRAW GF's). Thers an intersting card minigame that cums with the game. The Graphics r amazing for the PS1.

Final Fantasy 10: The first final fantasy game for the PS2. The Story is GREAT and gamplay is great. Each person has ther own class. Lots of unlockables lik secret aeons (summoning creatures). the usual time before attacking is not in this game so u can take yur time to create yur strategy. The graphics R amazing for PS2 the only thing odd i saw was the difference between CGI tidus and battle graphic tidus's face but trust me u wont care. leveling isnt in this game instead thers a sphere grid wher u use spheres from enemys u defeated to unlocked new abilities and upgrades (lik adding to HP)

Final Fantasy 10 Part 2: This game has a good story with alternate endings u can have. The battle system goes back to FF5. Lots of jobs (or in this case dress spheres) which is an interesting system.the voice acting is kinda corny not very much but youll c avideo sphere at the beginning that will make u play until the end. the grahics r stunning.

Final Fantasy 12: the story is good and the battle system is the same as final fantasy 11. the battle system makes u feel lik yur in a online game but thats fine XD. the battle system includes gambits a startegy to tell people on the party wat to do. o ya and the battles starts right away no random enemys u cant c which is a relief. the graphics r amazing but u hav to force yur self to contiue the story at the beginning. u lvl by gaing xp and thers this thing called a license wher u use licenes from enemies u defeated to upgrade and use certain accesseries and weapons
