@vatorus I haven't played it yet but that sounds like Uncharted 3 so I'm not surprised. Unfortunately it seems to be the way that action adventure games are going. Especially the ones from Naughty Dog.
I haven't noticed whether it's on PSN but noticed the new trophies have appeared. I'm done with skrim now anyway. After well over 150 hours and much enjoyment, I've really got no urge to go back to it. My character is ridiculously overpowered now anyway.
@Dalkanium Damn right!! B2 would have been a better choice that H4. I don't think that anyone is surprised by this choice though. Gamespot have been blathering on about it for months now. They must think we're all stupid. The readers choice will/should tell the true story.
Shouldn't be if it has been tested properly. There are plenty of games released without the severity of problems that most of the big franchises suffer. The fact is they are rush released to meet deadlines and to satisfy the company share holders. If they delayed the release of BO2 by a few weeks, they'd miss a lot of the xmas market.
No one is doubting that the first two were great. It's this 3rd game, we're concerned about. EA have a recent record of pandering to the casual gamer, in an effort to make more money. From what I've seen all these changes are to the detriment of what made Dead Space 1 & 2 so strong in the first place. I won't be rushing out to buy it.
@setuwa Don't try to belittle me. So you've never watched a film twice? How is that any different from playing a game twice? How is that any more repetivitve than running around the same old multiplayer maps, time & time again? And despite what you think, multiplayer does not dominate. More people still play single player games. How else do you think single player only games such as Elder Scrolls, Arkham City, Mass Effect, etc are released and achieve massive sales figures and fantastic ratings? Most players still want a solid and (preferably) content rich single player compaign, so you're wrong. And for the record... I don't think you've even played U3 because everyone I speak to commends it for the multiplayer. You couldn't even have played Halo4 to compare, as it was only released today.
@setuwa Utter nonsense. I disagree with everything you've said. Multiplayer isn't the be all, end all for every player. I'm a trophy hunter so play many single player campaigns multiple times and at the hardest difficulty settings for the maximum challenge. A few games aside (Red Dead and Uncharted 2), I just don't enjoy the multiplayer experience.
