And there it is, the truth, keep prices below $70, best $50 if you want people to keep buying your stuff, otherwise it will be in the bargain bin before it is bought up.
Game is already at astronomical prices the last 4 years with Biden in charge, $500 PS5 and Xbox, $79 game titles, Biden kept most of Trump's last tariffs so there's nothing new here. Do you really think the Chinese would want to keep prices going up? Heck no, they are after profit and sell as many as they can, currency manipulation is their game, they can still drop prices no matter what we do. What is going on in America is that our dollar value has fallen, thanks to Biden Inflation Reduction and injecting printed money onto our economy, you will not get the same for one dollar as you get 5 years ago. We just have to ride this storm and hope for smooth sailing going forward, it won't be as bad ;)
@sladakrobot: I remember the Dreamcast very well, still love mine til this day, it did have it's games but they were not enough, the sheer amount to compete with Playstation 2 at the time, and Sega dropped their price too late to save it. Microsoft is in the same predicament as Sega right now, with Xbox not having as much of a library of titles versus Sony and it's Playstation has, they better do something soon, either gain more developers support, or drop price to save the Xbox.
Great idea, duh, but please release one that will compete with Nintendo Switch as far as pricing goes, not Steamdeck or whatever that is way overpriced.
