Sumsang LA32R71 vs Sony KLV32V200A

Hi

 I was really keen on this Samsung LA32R71 TV since it has great spects and recently got a price drop as well

 but I saw this guy's post today and I got confused

It's a bummer only 1,000 of the 20,000 PS3s were sold in AUS...hopefully Sony will learn from these mistakes.KJAX90

What else u expect? 999AUD and 1199NZD(I am in the 'wonder land') is the highest price in the globe

How can I convince myself to justify spending all these money knowing the fact we get paid a lot less than people doing the same job in other contries? I cant, even I really wish PS3 good.

 In fact, if it wasnt because the three ring of death for the xbox360 I would have bought one(I hate MS but I am tempt by the new titles on the 360 now). If the Xbox 360 2.0 is real I would for sure get one.

PS3 is a must at some stage but 1200 dollars mate...and really they need games to temp people

me too. I am temped by all the new JRPGs and also games such as lost planet and GOW but this rumor and the 3 red light of death is the thing keep me away from this

Xbox360 and PS3 is the only two console I still do not have yet and I can not wait any longer...............

I dont really think the motion sensor is such a good ideal though. It will be cool just like what Wii promotion video shows such as slash ur enemy with a real slash action....But how can u play like this relaxly ad for a long time? What if I just want to lay dowm on my bed and enjoy the game? I mean it is cool but not really that good for every kind of game.

Also miss the rumble function will be bad, it really make u feel more realistic when not have to use any shrength(not like pointing the controller to the screen all the time).

I think some times the motion sensor just makes gaming harder..........The best way should be having both function nbut u can actually select to use then or not, just like the rumble function now. that will be ideal isnt it?

What I found really make me feel down..........The New Zealand Ver. LA26R71B seems dont have a turner.........
on the flyer thatr i have printed "PIP 0(1 Turner)" and I dont know whether it means build in or not, on the NZ Samsung website it says it is only HD-Ready..................While the same model in Australia LA26R71BDX has build in turner!!!What does that DX mean anyway? also on the NZ website the model number is LA26R71BX(with a X)???I cant find the one without X..................

also for the price about 1500USD..........the USD1000 range Ln-S2651Dhas build in turner and 2 HDMI port plus 4000:1 ratio instead of  3000:1 for the NZ and AU ver.............also NZ Ver. DOES NOT have optical audio out put.........for more than half the price.......................................

OMG why a I in such a place!!!  I wish I was still in China man~~~~~~~~~~

Can anyone find out if the LA26R71B has HD turner build in or not for me??

I was fighting over that last week, but it is true. I was going to buy the Sony one, but now im getting the Samsung.

u mean that u found it true that sony has terrible contrast ratio....Even with the bravia eginge?.......OMG............

And I think Bravia is the latest sony LCD TV serrie as well.........

That means SAMSUNG has better technical strength than SONY now?!!!!!

and they both very soimilar price...................That remind me the look of the SONY salesperson's face when I asked him why is SAMSUNG 26' LCD has 3000:1 and ur latest one only have 1300:1 maxmium.........

He was saying that they test the TV differently. Something like the test on 8 different area of the tv and blablabla...............
