In some of those shots, Gears of War looks better. I'm not really impressed with the graphics "improvements" Gears 2 has. It is a better overall game though and that's what matters to me.

I can hardly tell the difference between most of them. In some cases it's like comparing an apple to an apple with a tiny bruise. Does this suggest some biase on GS's part?
