I'm glad to see they finally saw that they owed those guys something... this was one of the worst acts against the devs by a publisher I have ever seen and heard of, all because of the potential of padding their profits a little higher.

@Raxyman, @Orgil220 @pakhair - I agree with you guys; the derivative games are those that lose money. Borderlands was my snap argument for this - and I bet BL2 is going to be a smash hit if the first one was any indicator. My HS friend is also the producer for BL2 - and said the response they have gotten for the changes has been really promising... so looks like I'm getting the big CE version :)

@Dark_December - that refers to the MSRP of the game; saying that it is the price of admission to take part in the free online and auction house (you also happen to get the campaign)... just a different way to look at it the "cost" of the game as opposed to a "free to play" w/ subscription fee paid monthly. @hastaluego - there is a difference; you are talking about "brand value" and prestige versus the actual utility of the bag. What they are saying is that you essentially spend real currency to buy "blizzard" gold/currency and then the item online that is never tangible. I say different strokes for different folks, if a high-end bag makes you happy - that's cool. If a sweet piece of equip for your warlock tickles your balls - that's cool too.

I often wondered why these reviews for critically awaited games took so long to get up. Thanks for the information and the process related to it. Very well done and from an unbiased PoV. Thanks for the article... it was very good and appreciated since I run one of the reviewer unions here :)

I'm hoping for Killzone 3... you can get some crazy games going on in the Warzone mode

KZ3 is an improvement on every aspect of KZ2. I think the way HH defined "accessible" is brilliant as well as the way they worked "cinematics" into the MP element (think the opening and cut scenes of Operations games). The only thing I would like to see is maps that are offered on all 3 game types... I miss the 'Gracht in WZ and was hoping for it in Ops :(

@Andy9Beans - Dude, your comment about the snipers, campers, and tea-bagging made my day. +1 thumbs up, and heck - it was so entertaining I'll even add you as a tracked contributor. I would also like to see a rant about the whiny 12-yr-olds who constantly yell "hacker", think "raping" is in fact cool, and act like they are 6'6"/245 lbs of pure muscle :P

I'll have to side with the editors that cited Dead Space 2 and Zelda (Tom)... surprised to see that no one wants to see the other 2 campaigns of Starcraft II. I'll be looking for those as well as more info on CoD: Black Ops.

I went as Dr. Salvador from RE4 (the chainsaw zombie). It was pretty sweet, and I made the burlap hood myself!!!
