It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.

Hmm.... I'm not quite sure where to begin. It's not a very good movie, that's for sure. Although, it wasn't as bad as people made it out to be.

I just saw this movie and I'm questioning whether or not it was worth the 4 bucks it cost to rent. I think the major problem was that the plot was too shallow. That, coupled with a dissapointing ending, doesn't make for a good movie at all.

And the CG was mediocre... they sounded like they were enunciating more than their mouths showed. It looks like the PS3 will be able to create this movie in real time, as a game.

IMHO, this wasn't a waste of money, per se; but now that I've seen it, I don't plan on seeing it again. Basically, I'm only glad I saw it because I won't look stupid every time someone mentions it and I say "I've never seen it, so I wouldn't know."

Now that Advent Children is on it's way, I'm kinda holding my breath, so to speak.

Naruto on Toonami

I just saw the Toonami preview for Naruto. Well, at least Naruto's name didn't change. And there's at least a little blood. Everything else, I'm worried about. This show is going to get censored so much it's not funny.

What I'm wondering is, what are the name changes going to be? *shudders*

I always used to mispronounce Sasuke before I actually saw Naruto, I have a feeling his name is going to get mauled. And Naruto's last name: Uzemaki. Hehe... can't wait.

Ah well, it's not like they're going to stop making japanese episodes simply because we got it. I'll just get one of the fansubs, or buy the dvds, they have subtitles in english. (Course, the menus won't be, but whatever.)

Finally!!

I just got HTML and bbCode privileges!!!!!

I'm so happy!!!

What? I've been waiting for these for a while...

We need more of these!!

OK... For those of you who do not know, there is a video series called Red vs. Blue (redvsblue.com).

Red vs. Blue is a series produced in Halo & Halo 2 for Xbox, with voices added in after.

IMHO, this is one of the best ideas I've ever seen for a game-based fan video. I highly recommend everyone to go check this out.

There are (as of April 14, 2005) 3 seasons, containing a current total of 54 episodes, not including their PSAs and other misc. videos. All the episodes and PSAs in the current season are available to download right off their website, the previous seasons are rereleased in a "rolling" archive of 4 or 5 different episodes every week, usually along with a PSA.

If you even remotely like Halo, make sure you go see this, it's definately worth it.

For those of you who knew about this, just ignore me.

Not easy

WOW!

And I thought I was smart.

This puzzle (or rather, set of puzzles) is really challenging. It makes you think.

Yahoo!!

I fixed my gamecube!!!

All I did, was followed the instructions on nintendo.com for fixing errors; I cleaned my disc the way that they say (cotton towel & a little water, in a circular fashion, from the inside out), and boom, it started working. Now, I'm not sure if that's partially because of my earlier work cleaning the lens, or just cleaning the disc properly. Whatever, I'm just glad it works.

Thanks to Sperry1989, it was your link to nintendo that led me to finding the solution.

Gwaaaaaa!!!!

Ok, now im getting pisssed.

I was in the middle of Metroid Prime 2, and I just beat the super bomb boss. I saved, and was going to go get some more powerups (ah, the best part of any metroid game). I got to a certain area in the dark world, and I shoot the door, but when i get close, my gamecube starts spinning the disc up (faster, I think), and then I hear it go click, click, click; (I think only 3 times, but maybe 5) then it tells me that there was a unknown error, and I have to turn off the gamecube and follow the instructions in the booklet. Well, I don't have my booklet anymore (I know, always a good thing to hold on to, but I wasn't thinking) and I tried the door 2 more times, the same thing happens. I need help, because I want to beat this game, but I can't get past this part.

This problem also occurs on Metroid Prime, but where it happens in there, its farther from a save, so I don't even try anymore. Oh yeah, also on Spiderman: The Movie, but I don't like that game as much, so I don't care as bad.

The problem definately isn't a scratched disc; I thought it was for MP1 and Spiderman, but my MP2 disc is immaculate, no scratches whatsoever.

Not only that, but, I cleaned the lens with alchahol and a q-tip, and now it won't even recognize that there's a disc in it.

Is this the infamous gamecube faulty lens problem? If so, I found a guide to fix it, but if it's not, I don't want to screw up my gamecube trying to fix a problem that doesn't exist.

damn, mp2 isn't a walk in the park

I am now writing this after playing Metroid Prime 2 for about 6 hours straight, not dieing once. (Note: 6 hours isn't from the beginning, it's from when I started playing today) I thought, "oh, this is easy; I'll have this done in no time." Word to the wise: don't EVER say that; hell, to be safe, don't even THINK that.

I'm in the sky temple (light side), and I hadn't saved for about half an hour. Usually that wouldn't be a problem, but it was right before a rather annoying mini-boss (ok, so it wasn't technically a mini-boss, it was just a ton of those long legged robots that you have to blow them up from underneath, and then blast the head.) Anyway, if any of you have sympathy for me, save it. It's not so much that I can't do it, it's that im so pissed that I got knocked back so far.
