I hardly pay attention to the stories in most games these days. When I was younger I liked to get into all the lore, now as an old man, I can't skip cutscenes fast enough.

On topic: YouTube has all but killed my need to grind a game out for any "true ending". Ain't nobody got time for that.

@ghostofgolden: Similar to the Alien franchise, the first film is horror, the second is action. Having said that, I'll take T1 and Alien over the sequels any day.
