@naomha1: I agree but for one fact EA is a business and they are about mass market appeal and pew pew'ers aka FPS are easy for the general audience to wrap their brains around. I hate mass effect now and refuse to buy any EA product, but I also realize that they couldn't care less about me, since there will be somewhere around 3 million + gamers that will still run out to buy this game. So in EAs estimation they look at something like cod which have an invested fan base that are willing to shell out hundreds of dollars on expansions microtransactions and character skins or whatever and of course they are going to try to implement that same model anywhere they can. So yes me:a will be a fps with light RPG elements I'm thinking something modeled around a rockstar game.
@zero_juice: You are right when you play a game that has been modded after the fact to support VR it kind of blows, but play something like Elite Dangerous in VR and it just adds a whole new level of immersion. Fallout and GTA are kind of bad examples. Wait a few years when VR hits around 200 bucks or less then we will see more wide spread adoption as it will be used for more than just games. I mean imagine watching your favorite action or horror movie as if you are in the world. This is the future and maybe it won't be Vive or Oculus that get us there but one day soon it could be the default standard for media. Personally, I was sold when I demoed the DK2.
@lulababy: haha! No. Completely different games and while I'm sure plenty of people will buy both no one who is a fan will be spend anytime trying to debate between the two.
@jldevoy: Its not the presidential candidate but the group that he founded, co-founded, or contributed to that is the issue. If you don't know its an alt-right/white-supremacists troll group responsible for posting a bunch of racist, bigoted, sexist memes and etc. I agree he can support whoever he likes, but I also reserve the right to not support him because of what he supports.
@m4a5: Its not about being anti Clinton its about the specific group that Palmer Luckey is sited as supporting. Which is an alt-right, aka white supremacists, troll group. If he had just donated money to donald trump or posted trump support messages on his twitter, like he has been doing, there wouldn't be a story. Its the specific group that he contributed money to and is allegedly the "VP" for that has everyone upset.
@heydink: whoa whoa whoa...hold on now have you played Morrowind? That game was beast and had the best story and most unique environments of any entry in the series. Sure if you are a graphics whore you may think it sucks but other than that it is the best elder scrolls. Hell it's the sole reason I keep buying them.
@cornbredx: I actually liked sucker punch what didn't you like about it exactly. I realize that its kind of a nested story and that confuses a lot of people but it was over the top fun.
@Xristophoros: People are entitled to their opinion and I belief most of those people are giving it a pass because its three of the most iconic heroes in existence all in the same movie. This is not some stupid conspiracy by disney, this movie was just bad.
