I got the red ring on my 360 yesterday... I was playing Sadowrun for about 10 minutes when the game froze. So like normal i walked over and restarted my xbox. I sat back down but the tv stayed blue. I thought that i had press the button too fast and it didn't turn on, so i leaned down to see under the coffe table at my xbox.... I cought a glimpse of something red on my xbox, so i wallked over and when I looked down.... dun dun duuuuun! A red ring was flashing on my xbox. I quickly turned it off, unpluged all the cords and took off my hard drive because I remember reading something about that. I pluged it in and turned it on, but to no avail. That persistant, little red ring kept on flashing away. I unplugged everything and got the number for the xbox support line whose number I will never forget. 1800-4MY-XBOX. But before I called I decided to ask my friends who had also got the eeeevil red circle. One of which included my good friend MM555. Both of them said that if all the quadrants were flashing something was wrong with the tv cord. So about an hour later I tried one last time. I plugged everything back in and turned it on... the power supply light turned on... the disc started to spin up... . . . no red lights. I waited there for what seemed like an hour making sure it really was ok. I turned on the tv and the opening movie for Shadowrun started to play. Yes! I was never so suddenly depressed and relieved in one day before. I didn't play it for the rest of the day though. I haven't tried it yet, but i'm about to go play Shadowrun again.
