There is a huge difference between Vista and XP with this title... Not only are the graphics better on vista with dx10... the destructability is intense. I've tried the demo on both and I've gotta say, this is why I bought a quad core vista machine.
I have the PC version and a Quad Core, Bioshock plays just fine, better then fine. I have experienced NONE of the reported problems and was somehow able to download the patch even when the "servers were down". I personally prefer the PC version. Keyboard and mouse are smoother controls. 360 version has auto aim, just enough to remove some skill (unsure wiether you can shut it off). Directx 10 makes the difference on this one. The PC version looks incredible. Better lighting and shadow effects... Higher frame rate... HD without the exspensive TV. I love my 360, it has it's purpose... It's just not this game. Cheers.
Intel's get so hot you can cook breakfast on them. Also, what's the compairison here? Ofcourse the intels run faster... they are the 2gb versions and the AMD's are only 1gb. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that 1gb more processing power makes a difference.
travis, it takes more power to churn out better graphics... It's not rocket science, just the way it is. Besides, you want to talk about hot plates... What about intel's new processors? You could cook an egg on 'em.
COD4 and Army of 2, Hell's Highway looked interesting on the stage demo... Airbourne looks cool, but has the same problem Hell's Highway has, it's in the over played World War era.
Why is everyone saying the graphics aren't impressive? Dumb haters anyway... Look, if you can't see the reflections and shadows are very accurate and from the videos that the particle effects are way high.... Your obviously hating on it because you can, some how it makes you feel "special". Halo 3 is going to be fun... The graphics will be atleast todays standard.... All the fake complaining in the world won't change a thing.
BigC... What does it matter? I'm buying Halo 2 pc and Vista because I want to... I don't care if it's dx10 or any of that BS... I want my gamercard on pc, Halo with a mouse, and achievements for a game I've played millions of times. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR WITHOUT SOMEONE COMPLAINING ABOUT SOMETHING?
