remember the first game console you got, the end of your social life before it began, the late night gaming before you know what gaming was, the hours on end of trying to not let the princess die from the mushroom things :evil:

I speak of course of super Mario for the n64 back when the games took a strong mind a large list of 4 letter words to make it threw. when i was seven i couldn't spell a 4 letter word. i still tried to make it past but after awhile i gave up and moved on to duck hunter the only other game my aunt gave me along with the console. that game sparked my love for Fsp games. the ducks flying across the screen like they had a jet engine installed the dog laughing at me when i missed( on a side note i hated dogs until i was 12) up around round 40 i had to stand right up to the screen to shoot them. then my sister stole it and i had to move on

after the lose of the n64 my brother (my fav sibling) gave me a Sega Genesis and Sonic the hedgehog the last nail in the coffin of me ever going to sleep the same day i woke up. that was the first game i beat it took me some time but i did it. now i don't even remember the end just the feeling that i had won, killed every thing in my way and grew a strong dislike for red mustashes and white trench coats (luckily the last one never came up much) not sure what happened to the Sega but I lost it somewhere in the last 7 years

Now that i am 15. A sophomore in highschool and can understand these games more i wish i still had them cuz that's the thing about childhood its like a fist full of sand no matter how hard you hold on it all slips away in the end. but there will always be the N64 in the next room daring you to beat it one last time for old times sake and as long as Mario is still killing mushrooms off by the thousands then that part of my childhood will always stay with me. every time i see a Nintendo ad for a wii game that lets you play the trombone or another bad sonic game that was unleashed on a unsuspecting world( get it) i remember when i was seven and i had just found out that the pink lady could jump on top of the mushrooms and kill them and then i smile cus if anyone found out that i played as princess peach id never hear the end of it

this is my first blog post so don't totaly thrash me if i got any facts wrong sorry but i was seven and do not remember every thing clearly i had to guess on some of it
