well I bought this sound system specially because it was 7.1 so yes, I am 100% sure it reproduces 7.1 sound.

I do have mgs4, i will try with that one. If there is more advice, please let me know. thanks!!

I just bought a 7.1 samsung surround sound for the living room. I connected the ps3 to the samsung receiver through a hdmi cable, and the receiver is connected to the TV through a hdmi cable as well.

My problem is that when I go to sound options in my ps3 and do an automatic check, it doesnt recognize the 7.1 system. It only goes up to 5.1

I also tried to do it manually but none of the games I tried sound in 7.1 :(

What am I doing wrong? please somebody help me. Thank you.

I feel sorry for you guys. I have both R6V and GRAW 2 for the 360. They are both great games.b11051973

yeah, and whats more, they wont look any better on the ps3, so much waiting for nothing LOL

I also got them for xbox360, they are really nice games.

for my ps3, i only got resistance and motorstorm 

I'm pretty sure that Sony couldn't screw up a PS1 Controller with Motion technology and different triggers.
