Ok, what plan is yours exactly?
I'm on the 500GB Optus cable cap, and pay 120/month.
ADSL2+ is ok, but it depends what those 5 people are doing.

sorry mate my computer decided to post the thread without letting me finish typing the question lol, and since my net capped im working with dial up lol.
Hi Guys
I currently have Optus cable broadband plan which only has 50gb a month of downloads and with a family of 5 internet uses and gamers this is just not enough and quite frankly im sick of watching the download bar like a hawk
so i was thinking of going to ADSL 2+ unlimited with TPG, do u think this is a good choice, is it just as fast
in terms of my distance from the exchanges Adsl2 exchanges.com gave me this info
You are 2138 m from NBAL as the crow flies.
Estimated cable length of 2886.3 m.
Estimated speed of 8000 Zone 1
im not sure wether these numbers r good or not, i wont mind if it is a little bit slower than cable but not too much as we all know what gaming with bad internet is like.
thanks guys :)
yeah i would change the brand of the card but this one was a bargin i mean how many times do u find a 7950 for less than $300 as my original budget for a video card was around 250-270 for something like a GTX 660 or 7870, but i am happy to pay a little extra for this but anything above this is a little much, is there anything wrong with powercolour as a brand i thought they were okbuild 4 is a league above all the others, but Id make some changes to it, for example get the unlocked K processor and change the video card, 7950 brand to a sapphire or xfx, or pretty much anything else lol.

Build 1, but get a 2x4 RAM kit instead, drop down the PSU to the XFX 650W or something, and try get a 660TI or HD 7950 GPU.spittis

If its for gaming then I concur with Masenkoe on this. Drop the RAM to 8GB and get a Z77 board with a i5 3570K and a GTX 670 4GB.Grey_Eyed_Elf
sweet, the CPU wont bottleneck the graphics card will it

[QUOTE="glassfish8"][QUOTE="Lox_Cropek"]How much can it deliver through the 12v rail?
superclocked
well on the side it says
AC input: 115v/230v 10A/5A 50-69Hz
Dc Output: +12v +5v +3.3v -5v -12v +5vsb
Current: 16A 30A 30A 0.5A 0.5A 2A
max Output power: 420W
is this powerful enough to run a 660
thanks
Not even close, especially since nearly every major component transforms it's power from the 12v rail nowadays...so i should go for 650 then
