yo dude there is a way you can have your own copy fixed legit wether it is through a shop fixing it or the method i thought of. Anyways microsoft has this service on their main games like halo 3 and gears. What it says is that if you have over 90% of the physical disc they will replace it with a new one or fix yours. I remember reading this on the microsoft xbox website. i might be wrong but i would take a look into that.

haha np mang. my only gripe or concerns with this specific monitor is sometimes u have to press the button a couple times before it switches inputs, eg from dvi to component etc.

you can easily get away with a monitor, just get one that has the appropriate inputs. i picked up a LG flatron, it has hdmi, component, vga and dvi inputs. it can support HD resolutions and i believe it can support 1080p. not quite sure since i dont have an hdmi port on my 360 but it supports up to 1080i and 720p with component cables.
