okay, i have a 42" 1080p Sharp Aquos LCD TV with Monster Component Cables for my 360 (which are the best you can buy from what i hear and are on level with the new HDMI that the Elite has) and im running the game in 1080p and im not all that impressed with it really. very similar to halo 2 in some ways, but with spiffier textures and higher resolution. im not really that dissapointed and im sure they will "touch up" the graphics a little (not too much im sure considering the september release date) but gameplay-wise it was a blast, the new grenades, vastly improved assault rifle (battle rifle who, what?), spartan laser, atv, the removable turret gun, bubble grenade, shield knocker-outer (cant remember the right name for it), and portable boost thingy, this game is gonna rock online when its released......hell, its rockin right now. cant wait for this to come out because i cant stand gears of war online and everything is just keeping be busy until this.
amazinazihn.......THANK YOU, ive been wanting to say that (you did a much better job than i ever could) to all these stupid fanboys that rip the ps3 to shreds for so long its not even funny. you make excellent points on all of the things people have been complaining about since ps3s launch. kudos my friend, and maybe some of these wii360 numbnuts will take heed to your comments and views. once again, thank you.
right on coreyb42, who cares about all this garbage people keep repeating. its inevitable most of these "so called gamers" will own a ps3 eventually, god of war 3 will push some ps3s i PROMISE
look everybody, its the fanboy parade. really though, people said the EXACT same thing about the ps2 and its sold what, over 100 million consoles worldwide. the ps2 completely blows all the competitiion out of the water (nintendo and MS combined) and im sure the ps3 will do the same thing over time, once people stop complaining about he price for one. come on people, its still way to early to say sony is doomed, when the 360 first came out it had COD2 (basically a pc game) and PGR3 (which was awesome if not a little shallow) to show us what "next-gen" is and it barely made the "next-gen" grade, barely. other than those 2 games everything else what pretty much garbage save for a few VERY mediocre games (kameo, perfect dark....which sucked hard, and condemned.....which was a little too CSI crap for me). i was very dissapointed with the 360 when it first came out but now its shown its true colors and impressed me, and it took about a solid year for them to figure it out. okay, give sony some time (they are about to release new development tools to make it ALOT easier to make games for programmers) and you will see that sony has what it takes to compete. people are just so quick to bash sony which is just ignorant and stupid, your just delaying the inevitable which is sony being number 1 AGAIN. (besides, i promise God of War 3 will push out some ps3s, i had a friend recently tell after beating God of War 2 that he would buy a ps3 with no problem to play that game). just wanna note that i own both systems (360, ps3), love em both just dont like seeing either take flak from rabid fanboys that circle this website like sharks.

dosen't matter to me, i own both consoles right now. so while im playing motorstorm, forza 2, halo 3, fable 2, killzone 2, mgs4, final fantasy 13, gran turismo 5, god of war 3, lair, bioshock, tekken 6, and a multitude of other games (lets face it, both consoles are getting their exclusive games that the only way to play would be to own both consoles, you know you want them). come on though, if you own a 360 and a majority of you (fanboys) do, save up your pennies, mow a few freaking lawns or something (getting a job would help, ya bums) and save your money and get a ps3, because in the near future (a year or 2 tops) you will be eating your words and limiting yourself to one platform of gaming and thats not what "gamers" do, ive owned almost every console you can think of and i did it because i love games in general, there may be a few systems, but there are far too many games to play.
Resident Evil 5, probably 08 MGS4, no release date yet, possibly but unlikely an 08 game but aside from those, what about Lair, that game looks incredible and is probably the closest thing to "playing" a lord of the rings battle in real time
