And omg almost forgot, THE CHAINSAW in the orginal doom, and the other dooms, but the original doom chainsaw was awesome. Also the doom opening music was very memorable.
got two. First off i'm a computer gamer, was in x-pro ranked on the tiberian sun ladder. Most memorable sound was when ever a plane flew over the firewall while it was activated and instead of explosions the sound was "oops". One oops for every one of the 14 planes that would fly over the firewall within a period of 3 seconds, and it creates pretty much a sound glitch on my computer. But that comes to memory the most. Also all the sounds in planetside come to memory very quickly as soon as i hear them.
And all though Halo is a colsole game and this really isnt a sound. The halo theme song isa great song and that is very engraved in my memory, not only the theme song but all the music and sounds in that game are very memorable and add to an already great game.
if any of yall have ever played planetside in an outfit with people who actually know how to play the game, it just cant be beat. A sequel to that would be the best game on the market. For those of yall who dont know what it is, its an MMOFPS, but its not like any of the other mmofps' coming out that are trying to be copies. Its pretty much one world with ten continents, techinically they are ten planets with warp gates connecting them, but all the planets only have one fighting surface, and before the so called "shifting" there were all on one planet. Anyway, its a constant battle for all the bases on the continent, the only rpg part about the game is, when you kill people you BEP to advance in battle ranks, which gives you certification points so you can gain the ability to wield certain guns and drive vehicles and stuff like that. Then if your leading a squad or platoon, and you do something like take a base or defend a base, then you get CEP which advances you in command ranks. Higher command rank you get to call stuff like orbital strikes in and radar stuff and EMP blasts to get rid of mines. This game with just a better engine and graphics and the exact same gameplay and concept would be the best game on the market. Its still an amazing game, although the graphics are sort of outdated and so the physics are getting a little old. Other than that game, I wish they would bring Mechwarrior back, Mechwarrior 4 was a great game, and i another mechwarrior would be a good game. Simcity could use another addon to the franchise. Im sure there are others im not thinking off but i feel this post has grown to long anyway.
