Rage has to be one of the most underrated first person shooters I can think of. The game was marketed decently but I had no idea how good it really was. This game combines many of the best elements of the FPS genre to create an absolutely great post apocolyptic adventure.

The ability to create weapons and usable items from things found while exploring is awesome. The graphics are insanely good, especially when played on a top notch graphics machine like an Alienware laptop. This game also incorporates elements of games like Fuel and card gaming like Yugi-oh.

Car races allow you to unlock new cars and add-ons to your car which make you more powerful. Rare cards are found while exploring and allow you enchance your current card deck and win when playing non playable characters for money. Upgradable weapons and components, manufacturing recipes and vast world make this game really enjoyable.

The storyline is also quite good and very immersive. I highly recommend this game. It's available on Steam and Gamefly for pretty cheap as of this writing. If you haven't played it and you're a fan of the FPS genre, you're missing out.
