*sigh* Man I hate Sundays. Most boring day of the week if you ask me. I mean, nothing ever happens, and it seems so.........."blah," especially since its the day before everyone goes back to school/work. Lucky for me, I get tomorrow off, though.
So, I watched those movies I mentioned last night. I'll give you guys some input in case you want to see them:
Red Eye-It was a pretty good thriller, although it is VERY short (about 1 hr 15 min). Also, the beginning is a bit slow (like almost every film out there nowadays), but once it gets into gear, its one hell of a thrill ride. Overall, I give it a 3.5/5
Wedding Crashers-I gotta tell ya, I didn't think there would be a comedy in 2005 that could stack up against 40 Year Old Virgin. Turns out I was wrong. This movie was HILARIOUS. Not as good as Virgin, but it was one of the best comedies of last year. It doesn't go overboard with the sex jokes, either, which is a plus. Also, with a cast of Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn (sp?), Christapher Walken, and Rachel McAdams, how can you go wrong? I give it a 4.5/5
Transporter 2-Meh, it was alright. I basically missed a big chunk of it, so I couldn't tell you fully about this one. The action sequences are insane, though. I give it a 3/5 based on what I seen of it.
American Pie Band Camp-Now, I know people hate these "teen comedies" where it's focused on using the "f" bomb constantly and the use of sex jokes is endless, but I gotta tell ya, I thought it was funny. I was disappointed on not seeing the ol' American Pie cast that we all know and love, but still, I enjoyed the hell out of it. I give it a 3.5/5.
There you have it. Movie reviews. Gotta love em. Anyways, we rented some more movies, but they were crap ones my parents picked out, so I am not even bothering watching them. In case you all want to know what they are, they are: The Cave, Mindhunters, Little Black Book, and Guess Who. Basically romantic comedies and cheesy Si Fi movies. Oh well, maybe next time I'll get to pick.
