No love for The Wonder Years I see:|. Fine, I see how everyone is. Go watch Seinfeld or The Office instead. See if give a sh*t. In fact, I'm not that much of a television viewer anyways. All I really watch are those competitions that are plaguing the four main television channels anyways. Yeah, those include Hell's Kitchen (Let's face it, a British chef calling his workers "donkeys" is priceless:lol: ), America's Got Talent (Very entertaining), The Next Best Thing (Personally, I don't see how anyone can hate this show, with all of those near flawless impressions), and Last Comic Standing (Probably the most entertaining out of all the reality competitions, since it makes me laugh so hard). There's also those few game shows I'll watch as well, such as Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? (In which I'm not even smarter than one, but then again, I don't remember studying anything outrageous as the questions they have on there when I was in grade school) and The Singing Bee (Joey Fatone> You and Wayne Brady:P ). Yeah, I'm sure most of this site is made up of people that just love to hate shows like these, but personally, I love them, which is why I watch American Idol early in the year. Sure, some of it may seem fake and seem like total bullsh*t, but it's entertaining. I just wish there was a show that was a rapping competition instead of singing. That would own. Well, maybe that would be another thing most people on this site would start to hate as well (because rock>rap is the golden opinion for most people on here:roll: ), but I love hip-hop.
Steering away from television, Nintendo's Virtual Consule on the Wii was surprisingly satisfying for once this week. You may or may not have noticed, but I added yet ANOTHER game to my Now Playing list, and that was Paper Mario. I remember playing this back in the summer of 2001. What I did was I rented it, and I played the hell out of it, beating it after renting it twice. It was the first Mario RPG I have ever played, and it remains as my last great memory of playing my N64. Now, 6 years later, after forgetting about a majority of the content the game contained, and after beating Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Super Paper Mario, it was time I revisited the colorful, "pop-up book" world home of the Mushroom Kingdom. And that's all I've been doing this week, was becoming addicted to this incredible game once again. And now that I'm replaying it, it seems like I'm discovering more and more secrets that I probably didn't even bother checking out the first time I played. After spending my Wednesday and Thursday playing it all day, I've only got 4 of the star spirits, so I can't wait to start playing again today. Thank you Nintendo for finally releasing another worthy game for the Virtual Consule:).
Moviewise, I only watched one movie during the past few days, but who needs another movie after watching this masterpiece? I'm too lazy to write a review, but it really needs no introduction, since it's probably the second best movie I have seen from the 1970s (first is Taxi Driver), and is considered by many one of the best movies of all time. This movie is:
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest--10/10
Go see it if you haven't. It will make you think twice about what can go on in a mental institute:P. It's a wild movie experience, and definately the best movie I've seen in awhile.
That's all I have to say. To sum it up, watch The Wonder Years (and all of those competition shows:P ), play Paper Mario, and definately watch One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Oh, and go pick up Common's "Finding Forever" CD when it comes out if you're a rap fan, because all of the songs I've heard so far are pure fiyah. And even if you're NOT a fan of rap, this would still be a great album to listen to, because this is TRUE hip-hop, not that bubble gum, two-steppin, leaning and rocking, bling-bling is my thang trash that's on the radio. Just for proof, here's a video of one of his first singles from the album:
Not convincing? Listen to this one instead:
Common ft. DJ Premier--The Game
Still not convincing? Well, go back and listen to that metal sh*t. And then go watch The Office:P. Nah, just kidding. Well, I'm done for today. Until Next Time, LATA!!!! (And why the hell won't my pictures become centered when I click on the "Align Center" button? I swear, Glitchspot is so damn complicated:evil: )
