First off, though, my day yesturday hanging out with my friend. As many of you probably know, I BARELY hang out with any friends, and this was a great change to my repititious weekend agendas. It was alright, but nothing special. Just went to Wendy's to get some grub, and then after taking him to his dad's to get an extra key to his truck since he locked his own pair in his truck, we went to the movies and seen the only good movie playing at my mainstream-infested movie theater: The Pursuit of Happyness. And.........that was about it for the day. It would've been better IMO if I had called up more people so it could've been a group thang, but oh well.
Now, about that job. Yeah, so Friday night, I was talking to my mom while she was on her way home from work, and I suggested to her that she should pick up something to eat on her way home for a change. So, we both agreed that we should get some grinders, which are like grilled Italian sandwiches that are as long as subs, only better than subs, and I called to order while she picked them up. Well, what I was unaware of was that she picked up a job application, and once I saw it, I almost swallowed my dignity:?. But as she sat down with me and explained the situation, in which the place had a "Help Wanted" sign up, the kids that worked there seemed like fun people, and that the only hours would be on Friday and Saturday nights from 5-9, I thought to myself "Dang, this could benefit me really well! I mean, I already waste my time on weekend nights anyways, so it's not like this could kill me." Plus, since it was basically like a pizza place, I had a LITTLE bit of experience of being around a pizza place back when me and my mom lived in Clayton, Georgia and she worked at this joint called Papa's Pizza To Go (she was assistant manager). You see, even though I was like 11 years old at the time, the boss was nice enough to let me help out ocassionally by folding boxes and helping with drinks, but mostly I'd bring in my small television and PS1 in, playing either Digimon or Final Fantasy games at the desk area (because I never liked being home alone:P). Ahhhh those were the days...........but anyways, the situation right now is I already turned in the application and I am just waiting for a phone call for a possible interview. Boy am I nervous as hell:?............
But enough about that, there's more to tell about my weekend:P. Last night, I finally got to play System Shock 2 for the first time. I used the magnificent site chacha.com to get help for any download of the game, and it was a success:D. So far, I am quite pleased with the game. Last night, I jumped out of my seat a couple of times even. Let me tell ya, even though this game has some dated graphics and is about 8 years old, it still has its scare factor. Something I'm noticing, though, is that it is VEEEEEEEEERY similar to Half-Life, and I mean it when I say VEEEEEEEEERY. It almost seems like I'm playing a mod for it sometimes, since the storyline is so similar to Half-Life. But, like always, no spoilers, so if you want to know what's so similar about it, search for it or something.
Last, but CERTAINLY not least, are movie scores. This week I bring you the afore mentioned Pursuit of Happyness, one of the best action movies I've seen in a long time (if not, ever), and another mediocre, cliched comedy. They are:

Well, that is all for now my friends. With one more night to stay up and a full day off tomorrow, I think I might do some major gaming:). Until Next Time, LATA!
