Time To Hide In The Shadows Again

From now on, my blog is going to only be available to read by those on my friends list. Personal reasons exist as to why I want to do this. Let's just say that somebody I know typed "Snowcoming" on Google the other day, and one of my blog posts came up and was readable. It was on TV.com, too. Stupid TV.com:evil:. Very embarassing situation, and I don't want that to happen again. Then I found out that my stuff was out there in the open on Google, especially when I typed my username in for curiousity. So, with my blog set to private, anybody who finds any of my blog posts on Google accidently and clicks on it won't be able to read it now except for the people who I'm tracking and who are tracking me.

School has been wild lately. Academically, I've been doing fairly well. I took a test in Physics and Calculus last week, and surprisingly, I got good grades on each. Very unusual. I got an A- on the Physics test and a B- on the Calculus. I was so proud of myself. Then I found out that AP tests are coming soon, and that meant shelling out $84 for each test:?. But then the teacher suggested something. Since my family is pretty much poor, why not sign up for reduced lunch? This way, lunch will be cheaper and the AP tests will be free:D. Two birds with one stone. Not a bad deal at all. Screw all of the rich kids:P. Lots of other crap has been happening, too, but I'll save you all the trouble of hearing me out this time:P.

Then I watched a movie over the weekend. It's one I've been wanting to see for a while now, and I can't go through any February without watching the next entry in the series on DVD. It is:

Saw IV

Another sequal to the infamous horror series. Surprisingly, though, each sequel has proven to be exciting and great, unlike most horror series that put out endless sequals. But does Saw IV continue with the greatness? Well, in some ways yes and in some ways no. Let's cover the yes's first. It's the goriest Saw movie yet. The traps are as clever as ever. Jigsaw's background onto why he started doing what he did is revealed and adds some interesting aspects to the whole storyline. And that's about it. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed watching this, but it seems like the plot is starting to become ridiculous now. None of the twists in this one actually surprised me like the past. Things are starting to go stale. Plus, all of the cool characters of the past movies have basically all been killed off now, so who the hell is left to warrent another sequal? The lame characters that were introduced in this movie? Seriously, what happened to having big name actors in a Saw movie like the first one? Most of the people here are unknowns, except for Tobin Bell. And you know what? It's starting to lose it's scare factor as well. Even though the Saw series is more thriller than it is horror (IMO), it still has its scary moments, but in this one, I only got scared once. Despite all of these flaws, though, I still can't wait to see the next entry, and I can only keep my fingers crossed that it might be better than this one. This gets a 7/10.

Speaking of movies, I bet by now you've heard something about the Academy Awards on Sunday. I only watched an hour and a half of it, because I had to go to bed, but it was cool. Jon Stewert was a funny host (aren't they all supposed to be comedians?), and the results seemed satisfying for each category. No Country For Old Men seemed like it deserved the Best Picture Oscar, since it seems like I hear nothing but praise with that movie. I want to see it so bad. Same with There Will Be Blood.

I'm outta here. Got a cold to fight (as if I haven't been trying to get rid of it for the past 4 days:roll: ). My runny nose should've gone away by now, but it's been with me ever since my cold started. Usually when I get a cold, the runny nose lasts about 2 days and then I go through 2 days of coughing every 2 minutes. I've been taking these cold pills that my mom has bought, but they don't help worth sh*t it seems:(. I've also tried Nyquil, but that didn't help either. Well, it better not spoil my time at Snowcoming on Friday, or I'll be in a rage. I don't want people avoiding me like I have a disease. Tune in next time for the details!
