Does anyone else love the Wii Shop Channel? How can you not? New channels, new retro games and soon to be orignal games. Whats not to love? Here is the top 5 reasons it rocks in no specific order.

5. The Currency System
The currency system is flawless. Point values are actually easy to figure out, and you can actually know how much money the points are. This is unlike Microsofts system of points, which makes no sense what so ever (200 points=$1.76??????). Also it is easy to get points on the service, and I think that the Wii Point Cards are a great gift. Aparently so do other people too seeing as that these cards are often sold out.

4. The Searching System
Searching on the Wii shop channel is easy. It has plenty of categorys to search through and Its great for finding the Virtual Console Games you need.

3. The Virtual Console
Come on guys this is the reason to get on this thing! Who doesnt love the Virtual Console. So many good games, over many platforms. All the games from the past that you will ever want to play. Well maybe not right now, but come on i dont care, Nintendo can take its dandy old time releasing games as long as they put out some good ones. Which of course they have. Paper Mario, Zelda 1,2, Link to a past, and OOT, Metroid, Super Metroid, Sonic, Beyond Oasis, ECT the list keeps going. Come on VC is amazing!!!

2. Buying Channels
Hmmm well this feature isnt amazing, but who hasnt downloaded Everbody Votes or the internet channel. Lol yeah so its fun. And the Internet channel is flawless and so is Everybody Votes. So why not go for it. And the news of a new Mii channel coming soon only sweetens this part of it.

1. Promotional Channels
Okay this probably could have gone in the other section but i needed one more so it goes here. So yeah promotional channels like the MP3 one are great. Think of the possiblities. You can put demos on these channels and the videos and honestly theyre just really fun. Great way to hype up upcoming releases. I know i have fun watching the metriod prime videos, you should too. Hopefully Nintendo does more with this.One for the upcoming Galaxy would be great and idk maybe some third parties can get into this too.
    The Wii Shop channel is amazing. I wouldnt say flawless but it is superbly great. And the future looks bright. The VC hits will keep coming and wont be stoping. And more systems are coming soon too to VC so look for that. O yeah and did i mention WiiWare. Orignal titles. SOUNDS GREAT. Especially with the wiimote. Obviously that will be fun. Hopefully nintendo wll release some sort of hardrive for the wii to allow developers to make slightly more complex games too. All in all the Wii Shop Channel is great and the future looks bright for it.

O yeah and i just got Bioshock and so far its amazing. I will have a review soon. But that might not be for some time seing as i have school and HS tennis after school.

Hmmmm

Well no one has checked out my blog, but hey im gonna still write i guess.

So i just downloaded the new bioshock demo today and i have to say it is freaking awesome. First of all the story is compelling and i was dying to know more about the Rapture and its mysteries. O yes and then there is the horror aspect. Not only did this game scare the crap out of me, but it actually had me looking around my own room as if something was there. Its creepy to say the least. But in a good way!!! The bigboy is insane and yes you see it in action. You dont get to fight it in the demo but none the less you do see it. The graphics i hardly need to talk about. Theyre great. Done with that. Okay so lets see here the weapons you get in the demo are pretty standerd pistol, machine gun, ect... But they work fine for what theyre supposed to do. Then the various powers you can do. Those are defenitly fun. When theres enemies in the water shock them. Let me tell you it is way fun. Well thats the gist of it. Very fun demo, go out and download it kidddss.

Well im off to my first tennis practice/tryout and HS Orientation so wish me luck fools.

Impresions of E3

I am sure everyone has heard so many impresions of E3 they are getting sick of it, but this is just what I have to say.....So lets start with Nintendo. What Nintendo did at E3 may have annoyed many folks as well as me. Although the anoucements of Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit were both exciting as well as the anoucements of the assorted prehiferals (Dont know how to spell that). I was dissapointed in the lack of games. I know alot have people have been complaining about how there wasnt enough Wii stuff which i will whole heartedly agree, I thought that it was extreemly lacking in DS news too. Sure the release dates for Galaxy, Brawl and MP3 were released. Overall it was a good confrence but i think that Nintendo has just concentrated to much on their sucess at the moment.

On Microsofts side I got extreemly excited. With games like Mass Effect, Halo 3, Rock Band, GTA 4, COD:4, Bioshockand more all on the way this year its hard not to be excited if you own a 360. In addition the news of all the marketplace stuff was just icing on the cake. I know this is much to say but to be blantMicrosoft is looking good.

Sony did fine as well. There masses ofgames will get most people excited. But the biggest newswas the price drop, which of course as we all know, isnt lasting. How UNBELIEVably bone headed is that.The PS3 was #1 best seller on Amazon after the pricedrop and soon the 60 will just be discontinued. Uh-oh. SONy sony sony. I thought you solved your problems by getting rid of whats his face. I suppose not.

As you can tell im obviously aNintendo centered person. But you can also tell that im also i Microsoftlover and well for sony idk, not a big fan, but they have bunches of great games. On a side note I highly recomend you check out the Rock Band videoon Gamespot if youhavent got the chance. This game lookssimply amazing.Weezer....StoneTemple Pilots......Foo Fighters.....Nirvana. I am in Nirvana!!!! I dont care the price point, its gonna be good!!! Say it aint sooooo!!!! (You say). I can ought right garunty you this game will kick Guitar Hero 3's butt!! (Notice how iused a Weezer song title :P)
