@jagdedge124: You've got it the wrong way round - games used to have you move the analogue stick all the way forward to run, and a just a bit to walk - which makes no sense because then it takes more effort to walk than it does to run...
Also, having walk be the "default" allows you to feel the weight behind the character, making them feel convincingly "heavy" rather than having them feel too light and speedy. Personally I love it the way it is, and I'm glad games brought this method in. I'd much rather press a separate button to run.
Director's Cut... The absolute WORST version of Resident Evil 1. The original has a way better soundtrack. Honestly, listen to the music on the Director's Cut, it's a joke.
But but but Rainbow Six! We still don't have a proper sequel to this game! Not exactly £90 justified alone though.
