I too have played dead rising and thought it was a blast, but I think it would be more fun to have a true free roam where your not stuck in a mall or something, it'd be hard to do but i think it would be a lot of fun. Like everyone else is saying take an I am Legend type plot where your roaming around for a cure and encounter other online players and such. I think a game like that if done right could be a very high selling game that many people would enjoy. Look at all the movies out there that people love, make it a game thats a little more driven that dead rising and left 4 dead. That would be sick.
Just checked out dead island, could be cool i just hope they don't turn it into an all out shooter. Add some plot and story with some missions and stuff.
haha I was just talking to my friend about this like 20 minutes ago and I totally said it would be cool to have an I Am Legend type game! glad im not the only one. I wish there was a way to get an idea like this going somehow.
I just finished playing left 4 dead and think it is a lot of fun. Killing zombies is always a riot but then i got to thinking, why not have a free roam game with an intriguing storyline and plot that is zombie based. I don't know how to go about it but just thought it would be kind of a neat game to have an outbreak happen and you are put in a town with little survivors and you have quests and missions to evacuate other towns and rescue survivors and such. Maybe there is a game like this already that i dont know about but i was just brain stormin...any thoughts????!!
Not that I know of, I'm getting really frustrated with XBOX LIVE. Paying $50 for service compared to free for playstation I would expect to not have any problems.
I'm having the same problem as well and am going to admit that it's kind of pissing me off. Same error statement about a week ago when i was downloading something. Really irritating.
