My original launch 60GB PS3 complete with backwards compatibility, that I've had since day one, has finally kicked the bucket. Well, sort of. The system still works and runs DVD & BD just fine, but has a hard time running games (new & old). It wasn't a huge surprise however as it started showing signs about a month ago that it was on its way out, but still sad nonetheless. So R.I.P. fatty (gaming wise) :') you will always have a special place in my heart.

However, not all is bad news for me as I have actually purchased a replacement Slim Ps3. I went out and bought the 320GB Infamous 2 bundle, which is great because I haven't played Infamous before and now is my chance to maybe get into the series :)

And no, I don't mean that Staind song...

Well, It has been over a whole year (381 days to be exact :P) since my last blog post, and pretty much the same amount of time since i've even visited. Over that time i have been receiving my edumucation and working towards my career :D Well I don't want to go on about all that stuff but for around here, I know i've been demoted in a couple unions which is understandable.

This is just a little post to let my friendies know I'm back and i will be for a while, at least I hope I will :P In other news, i will be more active around unions (AGAIN) and am willing to work for unions i.e. designing and whatnot.

Also, I'm looking for a new theme for myself, if anyone can give me suggestions on what I should do next that would be greatly appreciated. I've grown tired of the one I have now, not that I don't love Gundam.. just want something new... like cookies...

And last but not least... i have ranked up again xD and no ikhzo I don't cheat, GS just likes me :)

EDIT: I designed a new banner :D it's just a temp for now, but I like it (previous Gundam banner)

Ya since exams are starting, ill be back on again for the summer.. luckily for me i only have 2 exams so i will start to get on more now :D

um so what have i been up to.. simple answer is nothing.. just playing games and college.. ugh

Ya so i recently purchased a new TV, i believe on the 15th or 16th.. but thats not the point :P

So its a 46" Sony Bravia (for my room) and i love it, the picture is magnificent and i have no complaints about it

Need For Speed: Shift (Xbox 360)

Personally i think this game is outstanding. I came into this one expecting another NFS bust but was pleasantly surprised. The game can become challenging at times, but manages to stay fun.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 (PS3)

Overall the game is really fun, there are plenty of things to do, fighting with friends is very fun and the addition of fusion attacks adds a new level to the combat.

So thats about it for me.. oh and monday im turning 19 :D happy bday to me

in other news my brother got a ps3 slim Yesterday!! (August 30th, 2009) even though they are not for sale until September 1st. Im excited to have it in the house now me and him can play online together (me with my original fat version with backwards compatibility)

Yup i start school (or as some of you said in the previous blog, jail!) tomorrow, or today.. or maybe yesterday depending on when you read this. Anywho i start Monday August 31st... so my GS time will be minimal during the week.

Schedule:

Monday-Wednesday-Friday: DS106 (11:00-11:55 am), EN103 (1:00- 1:50 pm) HS202 (2:00-2:50 pm)

Tuesday-Thursday: CA120 (9:30-10:45 am) MA180 (11:00 am-12:50 pm)

WORK:

Monday-Wednesday: 3:30-8:30 pm

Saturday: 12:30- 5:30 pm

Sunday: 8:30 am- 1:00 pm

and thats just the basics.. im sure theres more im missing but ill get into that some other time.. well im gonna be busy so.. ya
