If would be funny if a person just get duplicates of Jarate and Sandviches. He gets food and a drink!
I was really fascinated by Farcry 2's sandbox environment and how you can just roam around the land and find vehicles to explore.
Are they any other games like it?
Requirements:
-Sandbox type games/Huge environment
-Transportation of some sort
-Doesn't have to be an FPS
I'll actually be buying this game even though it has those DRM bs. Its worth the risk.
Oh and NO ONE should be advocating the "incorporation" of viruses to any file be it legal or illegal. That's like saying waging chemical warfare against an enemy and that's just cruel.
Well, I won't be buying it till it drops to $30 or lower. I don't want to waste $50 for a multiplayer game where I could get Fallout 3 or Farcry 2 for just as much. Especially Farcry 2 which has a HUGE Singleplayer and probably a decent Multiplayer.
I'm not saying its a bad game. Its probably going to be an AAA game that'll score 9.0 or something but shooting zombies gets old after ahwhile. Spending $50 just for that is meh. (And yes, I've played alot of Zombie mod in Counterstrike: Source)
So, I was surfing the Internet yesterday when I noticed that Windows was downloading an update. I checked what it was and I saw that it was going to update the computer to Service Pack 3. After ah while it finished downloading and it started installing Service Pack 3. I continued surfing the Internet waiting for it to finish when BAM! my computer frozed. I couldn't move my mouse and the blinking red light that usually tells you on the CPU that it's loading wasn't blinking at all. So, I restarted my computer and it went to the screen where you usually go to Safe Mode, Last Known Good Configuration, Start Windows Normally and all that stuff.
I choosed Start Windows Normally hoping that nothing serious happened when, after loading for a minute or so, the computer restarted again. I did that a couple of times and tried choosing Safe Mode. No matter what I choose, it always restart and go to the same choices over and over again. I checked and searched for what could possibly had gone wrong on my other computer which was a laptop. (I'm typing this currently in the laptop.)
I started the computer again and something new pops up. Instead of loading to that screen where you have the choices, it say "Error Loading OS". I was tired from all that so I just went to sleep and tried to fix it the next day. I called my friend and he said to try to disconnect the other hard drives (since I have 3) that's not the boot drive. I did that, thought it won't really fix anything, and it didn't BUT it got rid of the "Error Loading OS". I have no idea why it didn't show up again but now I'm stuck in the choice screen again.
My plan was to just buy another hard drive, install windows xp there and get it all over with but the thing is, I have important files in the drive that has the problem and I don't want to start all over again. There must be away to fix the problem instead of just getting a new fresh window install.
All I know is it ALL started with that Service Pack 3 update. Maybe because it wasn't installed fully when the computer frozed and I restarted it, some of the important files in windows xp got either erased or corrupted. I have no idea how to fix this kind of problem. Already tried searching the thing but people that seemingly had the same problem can access Safe Mode so they easily just ran a system restore. I can't access Safe Mode without the computer restarting and starting the loop again.
Any ideas to help a brothah out? =p
Oh yeah, and is this the right forum to put this kind of thing?
LOL at the link that said SE is not making any more non-mainstream games. Just as when the argument about companies trying to create uninspired and done-to-death video games instead of being unique and creative was dying down.
Personally, I don't really care if its $40. Why? Never played it before. Of course, for those who already played the game for about 10 times already, I don't know why you guys even want to buy the game again in the first place. I guess its for nostalgic purposes.
Oh and to the guy that said that he'd rather buy Mature Bioware games than childish JRPGs....HECK YEAH! I would too, but you're missing the point though. DS is all about JRPGs. In fact, every single console with the exception of the XBOX and the 360 are all about the JRPGs. There's just something about pointy chinned, huge eyed, non-existent nose, androgynous, and white skinned characters that people like.
Also to whoever that guy/girl saying that "de arimasu" whatchamalit. Let me guess. Rosen Maiden?

My statement wasn't "wrong." I knew about Anachronox. That's why I said "there aren't really any," which implies that there are some.
Wrong. WoW doesn't suck, that's why more pepople play it right now than all of the games you listed combined.
Johnny_Rock
My opinion that WoW sucks is not "wrong." I dislike WoW, therefore, in my mind, it sucks.
Also, popularity isn't always an indication of quality. Look at Britney Spears and Nickelback. Both popular for their "music"... both horrendous. Look at the three most recent Star Wars movies... tremendously popular, but only because they were of the Star Wars brand. In reality, all three were extremely disappointing, and mediocre movies at best.
WoW has its merits. But it has its flaws too, which, in my opinion, outweigh the good qualities. Not everyone thinks the same way as I do... so none of us are "wrong" regarding our opinions of the game.
I think Nickleback songs are great, I dont like Britanies, im not arrogant and narrowminded enough to say she sucks though.
You basically told someone that it sucks, but didnt say it was your opinion... thus your falsly slandering a product that he might infact enjoy.
Oh and, despite unpopular belief, popular does often speak that the quality of a product is good, maybe in the wrong areas, but it is an acknoledgment,
Who else's opinion could it be other than his own? Batman's?
Yes, popular products are sometimes of a higher quality. Why else are they popular in the first place? The only thing to look for is the people making it popular or producing the hype. Are they of the intelligent type or just a herd of fanatics?
Going on topic, like the others said, there are close to none NEW Final Fantasy type games. There are old ones like Grandia 2. Otherwise, JRPGs are rare in the PC.
