honestly, those of you having second thoughts about getting Gears2 are insane. Every early preview so far is amazing. It's like they can't get enough of the game. Gears 1 kept me involved until today, with all of the new stuff to do in Gears 2 i am not sure I will be ready to give it up when Gears 3 hits shelves :)
^ the above is so true, however, Gears 2 will be so different and much more tactical while still keeping the frantic pace of feeling like you are a sitting duck while under cover, lol
I will be getting both L4D and GeOW2. Unfortunately for L4D, Gears comes out first which means most people will be playing Gears. Both games will be so much fun but Gears will be where most of the players (and my friends) will be at just because of it's history. L4D will be a great game to play with a niche of my friends when we want to change things up.
For me it would be the Clan option mode. I have no idea why this doesn't exist. Game devs have already said that they would support this feature in games if it was an option. Have a clan slide that you can have various clans that you are a part of and then can go into a game joined to that clan group. Would be totally awesome. It could have stats for various games and such.
I dont know how many times I am going to have to say this. IT IS NOT COD 5. It is a spinoff of the franchise developed by Treyarch. Affinity will produce COD 5 next year.
I appreciate the feedback but it still seems like even if I wait for the price drop there will be too many new games coming out by that point. What I am really looking for is people's explanation why I should get a specific game over one of the other ones.
