Pc gaming isnt like console gaming, you dont need awards or achievements messages every now and then to make you feel like your progressing and going forward. Basically, what im trying to say, is thatawards cant prove the death of a platform, especially when these awarda are given by people who have no clue about what they are talking about.
Also, what kind of multiplayer does BG 1/2 offer? My friend has a terrible pc and cant player recent games, so i would like to play this cooperatively with him. Is it LAN only, or it can be over the internet?
Ive done it many times, in scrims too so i have the demos ; In dust2, im under platform and checking pit from around the corner, waiting for the Ts to jump into pit. This is were i one-deag them, when theyre jumping right into pit.
Why Daikatana of all games for Christmas?! Why don't they give away something that needs a larger fanbase because it didn't sell so well like the PC versions of BGE or Psychonauts? Or maybe even Anachronox if it HAS to be from Ion Storm/Eidos!?
Im either getting the fallout collection pack (fallout 1,2 and tactics) OR the baldur's gate 2 collection pack (amn and bhaal). In your opinion, which package should y buy? Which one will last me longer and overall will be a better experience? Thanks in advance.
I'm running vista 32bit all high, 1680X1050 8800GTX. I'm not sure if the GPU benchmark runs it DX9 or 10, so I'll just go by what it is.
The benchmark crashes for me after all of the loops, so I'll just say the number I got in the corner for AVG Fps.

The FPS was basically stable at around 20-25 fps most of the time. Does this seem normal to you guys? I saw some other benchies with a 8800GTX on the same resolution with like 27FPS, maybe its the fact that the GPU benchmark crashes after 3 loops?
I saw that on TweakTown the FPS for the 8800GTX OC2 was 37.6, maybe I can try and OC my gtx to match that.

Well it depends on your cpu and the one they used for their benchmarks.
