alright i guess my only option left is to buy it online, really weird how retailers like best buy and futureshop carry crappy games like barby horse adventure (sorry barby fans) but not potentially good games.

Ive been looking for it for some days now, and i just cant find it in shops. I usually buy pc games at big retailers like futureshop and bestbuy, but none of them carry the witcher. The nearest gameshop doesnt sell any pc games. So im wondering if im just unlucky, if it hasnt been released in canada yet or if its not avaible for some other reason. Please just clear this up for me. Thanks in advance.

[QUOTE="IndianaJosh"]HD is justmeans high definition. PC monitors have been producing resolutions that people consider "high definition" for years before TVs started doing it.Funkdaddy13
Yeah... What he said. I was hoping someone would say "Well, I don't see PC's making HD resolutions like the consoles."

same, i always wanted to see such high level of ignorance with my own eyes.

i doubt it. It will get 9.5 maximum, since they made the /genius move to replace their older rating system with this new awesome .5 increment system./end sarcasm

[QUOTE="dnuggs40"][QUOTE="Simechak"][QUOTE="dnuggs40"]

Both games require a huge time investment. Just to get through the main story in HG:L is 30 hours (not even including playing the MP) and The Witcher boasts 80 hours of campaign + quests.

It takes time to review games like this...no need for conspiracies and silly things

Simechak

've already finished The Witcher, and I have a full time job, family, and go to night school. A person whose job it is to play games should have finished by now and have reviewed it. There is no excuse.

The Witcher came out 6 days ago (US Release - Oct 30th), if you played 80 hours (heck, lets say you only played 40)in the last 6 days I can imagine your family is pretty pissed at you right now...

Right, but for a guy who JOB IT IS to play games to have not finished it right now, is pretty sad.

how long did the game last you? Im curious as to how long the game is, the said 80 hours seems a little overexaggerated

Lawl... thanks. I saw videos of the HL2 EP2 gameplay, and motion blur seemed very noticible there... Thanks for the answers anyways.. XDgigaman299
probably because the videos you saw were from the xbox360 version of the game, where the motion blur is more noticeable, since its on a console.

Yep... post processing is on high.gigaman299
hmmm, can you set it to very high? If you cant via the menu, you could try enabling it in the config files located here : program files>electronic arts>crytek>crysis sp demo>game>config>cvargroups>sys_spec_postprocessing. Now in the [3] section, change the following line :

"r_MotionBlur 1" to "r_MotionBlur 3". Also, if you want to set everything else to very high, delete the entire [3] section of every file you find in cvargroups, it will automatically default to very high when you set it to high in the menu, but remember to back the cvargroups folder.

Ok, please, no noob comments. I just started Jericho and I'm running with my team and we come to the first area..the team is all lock and loaded. Its like a big blocked cave and I don't know how to open it. I feel like an idiot. Nothing is happening. I can't go anywhere else. What the heck am I missing? Feels like a glitch but..sorry to say..its probably just me. Any kind souls out there that can get me started? Thanks!!! BTW, I'm playing it on Gametap.funnycnslr
I suggest you load an older save, or simply start a new game since its at the very beginning.

the motion blur used in source games is very subtle, so its normal you dont really notice it. And in crysis, are you sure you have post processing on high? Because when set to anything else below high, it disables motion blur.
