Now maybe that i'm a bit older now but is "n00b" not the worse phrase to catch on i na long long time. Now I understand the underlying message, When I was a teenager me and my friends used to say "are you new". N00b is getting out of hand. Now i know this thread will get flamed by 1000 "n00b" comments, but I thin kthat just solidify my point. Also the whole "owned" phrase, however its spelled...thats just really lame. Who agrees with me?
Does anyone know of any online gaming groups or venue where there is a healthy ammount of players of Mechcommander 2? I never had the opportunity to play MC2 online when it was new (lived in the sticks with dial up).
Now i'm not sure if I will get any replays here but has anyone ever had this too them. Once you get Sulik in your group I tried to use the Combat Controls but to my surprise, the dialogue portion of the screen slides down and reveals the background graphics, but no combat controls slide up in its place. Nothing locks up and i can press escape which slides the dialogue part right back up.
Has ANYONE else seen this before. I am running 1.02a on the Mac. I have tried updating but I cannot find a 1.1 patch for OSX. I know...I know play it on PC but I am at work and I play it on my lunch break. If anyone has any ideas PLEASE LET ME KNOW 8)
Since I have never played the HG titles I can't comment on their game play. My point was that Heavy Gear borrows all of its game cues and theme from the Mechwarrior games. Essentially HG is what the new Mechwarrior games would have been if Activision would have kept the license. The Mechwarrior universe is so broad and has so much history and depth that i doubt anyone could argue that HG could come close to this.
Also, the user rating for Vengeance and HG2 are both 8.7 I tend to take the user rating over the critic rating. Is it really that much better?
Does anyone else have any other options? Not that there is anytthing wrong with the first one, just curious about others. Also all i need is video streaming. I am fine using WMP shareing for my audio.
I would really doubt it that worked. I'm guessing online voice recogniztion software wil lnot be that advanced, unless it just plays really simple midi tones. Still whats the point.....If anyone tried it make a post, i want to see the video evidence....
