Currently: Just a GBA Micro

I used to have the oiginal I gave it away, it was pretty beat up. (I regret that now)

I had a Pocket for a few days, but I gave that back to the guy who gave it to me.

My brother had a GBC (he gave it away, I would have kept it!)

I had a GBA then I lost it along with all but a few games

I got a GBA Micro. I plan to get either a GBC or a GBA to play original games on though.

I've played Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gold, Crystal, LeafGreen, FireRed. (Owned all of thosebut Blue and FireRed and those my brother had, and Gold I only had for a short time and Red broke after not to long). So taking that into consideration my favorites were Yellow, Silver, and LeafGreen.

Since GBA games are playable on the DS you could do leaf green. I'm currently at almost 48 hours. Or any pokemon game except R/B/Y/G/S/C. They all are well made and time consuming.

What are the pokeon that can only be found in Fire Red? I want to know so that I won't be looking around for them in Leaf Green.

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata had this to say on the rumored demise of the Game Boy brand: "No, it's not true after all. What we are repeatedly saying is that for whichever platform, we are always conducting research and development for the new system, be it the Game Boy, or new console or whatever. And what we just told the reporter was that in thinking about the current situation where we are enjoying great sales with the DS and that we are now trying to launch the Wii, it's unthinkable for us to launch any new platform for the handheld system, including the new version of the GBA... Perhaps they misunderstood a part of this story, but as far as the handheld market is concerned [right now] we really want to focus on more sales of the DS; that's all."

This might mean that there could be a new gameboy. I'm not sure entirely what he was trying to communicate.

Well while they are still releasing games for it it's not official. But it's true the rein of the GBA is for the most part over. NInten

Well if I'm going to have to say the gameboy advance sp is the best to use now, because its the most recent one that can play all of the original games, but I own a micro and It would be perfect if it had that capability (though I admit that would be a very very small playingscreen considering the screen ratio required for the originals). But I definitely had the most fun with the original, because I used it so much and It was the first of it's kind. But my favorite design is the micro, because of the small size and the hi quality screen, that also is protected better with a harder faceplate. (Sorry, that was really in-depth, and probably not quite what you wanted)greenhelium

sorry I meant to say that I had the most fun with the original GBA, not the original (although I had fun with that too.)
