Condemned 2: Bloodshot

So, I got my hands on Condemned 2: Bloodshot. To be perfectly honest, even if I have heard of it back in March when it was released, I have definitely forgotten about it since. I was actually checking out previews for Resident Evil 5 and Silent Hill: Homecoming when I saw recommendations for the mentioned adventure.

Like any other game that is not Gears, CoD or IV, we can expect the price cut sort of soon after the release. Even with that in mind, I was a bit surprised to see the price of Condemned 2 being significantly cut, merely six months after its release. Especially because it got quite decent ratings, and somehow I thought that 8.5 on a scale that seems to be pretty tough should give it longer life on the front shelves of BestBuy and GameStop.

Well, I guess I was wrong as I got it for twenty bucks. Yeah, new.

Anyhow, I happen to like games like Resident Evil 4 or Alone in the Dark, so it seems that this one should fit just fine.

Ghost Recon - Advanced Warfighter 2

Just finished single player campaign. I played it sort of late, as this one was released a couple of months after Vegas, which I have played (now it seems) ages ago. I liked Recon since the PC days, but I guess I was overwhelmed with the other 360 titles and GRAW 2 never got the chance. Until now, that is.

So, I wasn't really impressed. It wasn't bad, disappointing or anything, I guess I was just expecting a little bit more. I was playing it on the medium difficulty, and didn't really have any trouble at all. I played Alone in the Dark and IV before this one, so it's not that I was that good. It kind of left me wanting for more, as in, I wanted to go and get Vegas 2 (was that the point?).

I should probably give it a second run on the hardest level, but in the meantime I got Condemned 2: Bloodshot. That one looks promising, so we'll see.
