Just got back from Comic-Con!
by griffripper on Comments
Si I'm back from San Diego where I went around Comic Con to look at all the new games mainly, and I'm checking wether I still have anything left in my bank account. But I digress. I also picked up Civilization Revolution while I was there. So look me up if you want to play.
While I was there, I stopped by the Lucasfilm booth to check out the new Star Wars game. And I mean Force Unleashed. Forget Clone Wars, that game sucks balls. I can't stand the multiplayer. Anyway, on September 16th, I want everyone to pick up Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. I was actually surprised of how great the graphics were.
Also, Street Fighter IV, Little Big Planet, and much more. I'll be back with a new blog post soon.
What was best at E3.

If anyone saw the E3 keynotes. Which I'm sure most of you on gamespot.com saw. Out of all the keynotes between Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony. I would have to say the most impressive one was the Sony keynote. And while the PS3 has dissapointed me up until now. I've been a huge fan. One thing Sony was better. They delivered the main thing I wanted to see, SOFTWARE! But not only did they show that, they've shown more firmware updates. The two best things that they did in the keynote. First, the Little Big Planet video they. Complete genious on how to show your graphs of how sales are and what games have done well, it was also an excellent way to show off PS3's new and probably the best game coming out soon. Two: DC Universe. Yes, me being a big comic book fan, this helps. Espeacialy since former artist of Superman and Batman Jim Lee is producing it and the art for it. Now while this is an MMO, I'm not a big fan of MMO's but this might be the first for me to like. The one dissapointing thing for me was no Kingdom Hearts III. WTF SONY!? I mean not even a trailer. Final Fantasy has never impressed me. So I don't give a **** about 13 or 14 or 31, or whatever the **** number they're on. But all in all, they've had the most promising keynote.
Why I wasn't impressed with the others.Well, Nintendo, didn't really do anything but show like 3 new games and basically talk about how rich they are. And Microsoft. While I am one to like a lot of things they do. They just dropped the ball on this one. First, they told and showed us a bunch of games we already heard about. Nothing new. Ok, I can deal with that. But wait! They've got new avatars. Wow guys! That's really innovative of you. Tell me, how did you get those plans from Nintendo? Oh, and your telling me that your making me get an avatar since I have live. There's also a new dashboard update. Oh yeah I saw that. Did Sony let use some of their plans for the dashboard. You mean we can't use themes anymore or profile pics. Well what about people who bought gamerpics or themes? Oh! There getting deleted and you won't reemberse people who gave bought them. No!? Well, I think that's called stealing. So there you have it, Microsoft is screwing me and you over. So these are my top things I'm excited fro so far.

Why Call of Duty 5 will be as mediocre as the last one.
by griffripper on Comments
Ever since CoD 4 came out people have fallen in love with it. And I will I was one of them. But after reaching level 55 for the third time. It's just repetitive and annoying after a while. You find that there is no challenge a while later. You can just stand still an entire match, your team could lose, and you would still get some experience. Plus, you can't level down. There is no penalty. So I don't know why people play it so much. Maybe because they think it realistic. But I don't see the fun in a game where it's just easier to die and can only carry 2 weapons. Wow! Now that's really speacial. I'm not saying Call of Duty 4 was bad. Just too overhyped ya know. But I don't know why people now and days have to constantly think that a game has to be realistic. And now they're going back to WW II. Come on. At least Call of Duty 4 was innovative. This is just getting boring. The only difference in this game is, is that now you fight in the Pacific. Couldn't they have done like a Future Warfare thing. Wouldn't even matter if it only took place 5 years in the future. Just something new. Plus the CoD story has always been mediocre and cliche even in the fourth title. Well okay, CoD 4 wasn't mediocre, but it was a bit cliche.
And maybe I'm being to harsh. Maybe I'm wrong about some minor shiit. I don't know. But I just don't know why people can be so blind about it. But everybody has different tastes. Some not quite as good as others. But it makes us human.
What's going on with my PS3? Please help!
