[QUOTE="yellowandmushy"][QUOTE="Dreams-Visions"][QUOTE="Broman6015"]Off topic but was it confirmed that Braid would be going to either PC or PS3?Dreams-Visions

NO.

Yes it was.

You're right. I was answering for PS3 when I typed that. I'm pretty sure it'll be on PC, but you're gonna have to give me a link for it on PS3.

[QUOTE="Dreams-Visions"]

1.) The game is still on Live.

2.) He has no plans to put it anywhere else.

deal with it.

They had him sign an exclusive contract to keep the game on live. lmfao, obviously it will be coming to PSN. A man of his caliber cannot be satisfied with a mediocre digital distribution service, unfortunately.

there's nothing wrong with the distro service. it was just that he coded it in C++, which made the creation of some things difficult. Still, standards are standards.

having consistent standards is one of the things that has made the Live experience uniform and enjoyable. Compare with the palpable lack of uniformity on PSN/PS3 and we see why it remains the best.

as has been said, devs can complain that they don't want to code a leaderboard etc, but we ALL benefit when they demand it.

Good arguement, I admit. But you fail to see the PS3 is consistent in quality games, both PSN wise and normal retail games. Meanwhilst, XBL recieves a pleuthora of vapourware. Is that type of consistency really a good thing? Welp, it is uniformity, but I dont know...

[QUOTE="whackedjob213"]you need to put something in the topic of your own opinion. But ya XBLA is overly restrictive with size.SolidTy

Well, it's all DUE TO THE LACK OF HDD. M$ want's to sell these games to Memory card holders...It's a shame too. That's why games like Warhawk, SOCOM, and Ratchet:Booty aren't on XBLA. The lack of HDD's, and the fact that there are FAR too many 20gigs out there.

And the fact XBL's abysmal servers are already being strained with hundreds of 200 mb mini-games downloaded every second. Lawl.

[quote="1"]Braid, the recently released to rave reviews, would have been even better if it were not restraind the restrictions of the XBLA service, and will limit any sort of profit that might have made on the title to the extent that the creator would think twice about using the service again. Jonathan Blow, the games designer says, "I put in a tremendous amount of work meeting all these requirements, when I could have put that work into the actual game, and made it even a little more polished, little bit better. He further added, "But I feel like it actually decreases the quality of games, because people spend so much of their energy on these things that users don't even really care about." He goes on to say that the restrictions really inhibit the small games designers in their efforts to put out titles, as the restrictions seem to be geared towards the bigger developers. And though we have been gagging at the games 1200 MS points tag, Blow doesn't think he will be able to make anything from the success of Braid. "What would keep me from putting another game on Arcade again is just that they've changed the business deal-at least as I've heard. If it's as I've heard that it is, I couldn't even necessarily break even." said Blow. Not a good start for a service that has just begun to hype it's home brew to the masses.

SC has aged badly. God-awful graphics, 60's filmtape quality audio, An unintuitive interface/kind of outdated lobby. Yes, get Dawn of war.

Close it and wait till you get 13.Berzz
Because this graphic-novel is the pinnacle of sophisticated literature. I will finish the book then, I suspect it has a deep theme or statement/something like that.

Im on the eighth chapter and am getting bored to tears so far. I haven't started the eighth yet, but I've just finished the seventh. There were some interesting scenes so far, but is the ending at all really good? The only thing that's been driving me is finding out who is killing them. Is it worth it?
