Top 5 E3 Anticipations.

Each year I always highly anticipate E3, it i the biggest gaming convention each year and never disappoints in showing off new games, or more games everyone is looking forward to. E3 2011 is only one week away and once again it looks set to be an incredible few days for gaming fans as they see there anticipated games in action.

I am looking forward to a number of games, all of them which are on the PS3 as i have been a great fan of the Playstation consoles ever sicne they started. So here it is my top 5 games of E3 this year:

5 - Need For Speed: The Run

Need for Speed is a highly popular series of games, and for EA it seems to always be a yearly installment. However with Shift 2 already being released another Need For Speed was announced, and this is that game. No gameplay has been shown yet, however during EA's press conference gameplay EA have stated a live demo will be shown and having stated this game has a story behind it and is utilizing DICE's Frostbite 2 Engine, i am highly anticipating a first look at this.

4 - Fifa 12

Each year the Fifa and Pro Evolution Soccer series always battle it out to see who can hold the claim to best football game of the year. Fifa has run out best in recent years and still withholds a lot of progression and power over PES and this doesn't look to be changing. The new Impact Engine makes physics much more lifelike, with tackles and injuries all simulating what the real game would look like. Always additions to gameplay and an enhanced career mode make this Fifa again look like it could be the series' best.

3 - Battlefield 3

This year the big battle between call of Duty and Battlefield series kicks off. With MW3 remaining with the same engine in MW2 things may not be looking up for the series, however it could be proven wrong. On the other hand, EA DICE have created a new engine with Frostbite 2 which makes animation, lighting, gameplay, graphics and much much more to be incredibly realistic, and from the first full demo of the game it looks fantastic. With hopefully more gameplay and multiplayer information at E3, this could be EA's best this year.

2- Resistance 3

Having been my most anticipated game since Resistance 2's conclusion there have already been gameplay shown off (single-player and multiplayer) and the game looks to be running fantastically. It is still my most anticipated game but only hits #2 spot for E3 because of gameplay I have a key impression of the game, however more information and gameplay will be very much welcome.

1 - Assassin's Creed: Revelations

My favourite series of all time is back with another yearly installment and i very much can't wait for this game. All the information about the game sounds fantastic, with new gameplay mechanics detailed, and new single player details been flying around, the game looks set to be another possible GOTY. Hopefully be seeing some gameplay for this and i can't wait to get my hands on this game at the end of the year.

Other noteable games looking forward to this E3 include: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Also hopefullly possibly a Grand Theft Auto V reveal? If only.

Resistance 3!!!

I have been anticipating this game for a very long time now. Ever since the ending of Resistance 2 I thought more or less Insomniac had to do a sequel, despite being denied by several people.

Since seeing the billboard up last year, it even more raised hopes of the game being announced. However as E3 passed and went and still no announcement, it kind of let me downa bit, considering E3 is the biggest and most popular games convention.

However Gamescom didn't dissapointment, the trailer was really good, and I'm a big fan of the Resistance Series so I hope they can improve on what they've already successfully achieved. I will be anticipating and awaiting gameplay details for Resistance 3, and very much lok forward to it's release date next year :D

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

I have seen some great gameplay videos for Modern Warfare 2 and it looks amazing. The visuals look great, the singleplayer again looks great, and the multiplayer looks really improved from what was already amazing from the other call of duty games.

I now can't wait for it's release date on November 10th :)

Mafia 2

Just saw new gameplay movie for Mafia 2. I have to say it looks a lot better than i thought it would and it's a deffinate buy for me next year.

Hopefully there will be a lot more news and updates for it before it's release :)

2010 Games

Theres no doubt thattowards end of 2009 there are some really good looking games being realised. Games such as Assassins Creed II, Fifa 10 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 look set to be some of the big headline games and the games making the most profits.

However when this year does end and the best games will have come and gone, there will also be some games to look forward to, such as Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Just Cause 2 and Mafia 2.

Therefore during the next year or so it looks hopeful that there will be a lot of great games to anticipate. :)

Assassins Creed 2

Assassins Creed 2 looks set to be one of the best games out on the Playstation 3.

I first heard about it's development from rumours, turning into actual facts in the may edition of Game Informer. I then sawa demo from E3 and it looks brilliant, with better gameplay, more variety of weapons, different setting, and now more variety in mission types to increase the game's ability to be one of the best.

Now I am higly anticipating it's release in November this year and hoping it will be as good as it sounds or possibly even better :D
